Democrats
Cori Bush (Mo.)
Ilhan Omar (Minn.)
Omar said in an appearance on Hill.TV’s “Rising” on Tuesday that she would vote against the bill due to the impact it would have on other countries.
"That's not only going to have a devastating impact on the people of Russia, but on Europe as well," Omar said. "When we're having these conversations, they can't be about just the immediate, gratifying response that we want to come up with."
Republicans
Andy Biggs (Ariz.)
Marjorie Taylor Greene (Ga.)
Louie Gohmert (Texas)
Dan Bishop (N.C.)
Glenn Grothman (Wis.)
Lauren Boebert (Colo.)
Tom Tiffany (Wis.)
Matt Gaetz (Fla.)
“I will not join them. Biden’s plan to replace Russian oil with Venezuelan or Iranian oil is needlessly foolish. It will make Americans poorer and less safe. My compassion for Ukrainians won’t force my hand to hurt my own people,” Gaetz said.
Paul Gosar (Ariz.)
Clay Higgins (La.)
Scott DesJarlais (Tenn.)
Madison Cawthorn (N.C.)
Bill Posey (Fla.)
Chip Roy (Texas)
Thomas Massie (Ky.)

They didn’t want to hurt the American people.
They put America First.
MTG and turban-head on the same side!

It’s the New Covid.
They will ratchet it up until you want to pay more for Gas, Higher Taxes, untold Debt, and then want to send the kids in.
It’s perfectly clear.
Without the US producing oil (we are down quite a bit from 2020), the poor countries of the world will be unable to pay for fertilizer and fuel. Omar is right on this one. Every now and then a blind squirrel finds a nut (pun intended).
How about closing the southern border you worthless parasitic co*k suckers.
How would they have voted if the Russian oil was to be replaced by our own ???
Mass formation psychosis
Except for Omar who didn’t want other countries hurt but gives no figs about the States.
I heard we get little of our oil from Russia. Symbolism over substance?
Her name buried by the names of good members of Congress representing “We The People”
I think this is all premature, and not well thought out.
I’d like to see that bill.
Odd allies
Well said.
Omar and Greene on the same side. Biden is bringing America together.
America has had open borders since Columbus sailed
the ocean blue in 1492.
Politics makes strange bedfellows. I never thought I'd see those two on the same side of an issue.
It's like how the AlwaysBibi's (Netanyahu-as-Prime-Minister-for-Life apologists here) ranted and raved about how the coalition backing Bennett included left-wing socialist parties and Arab parties, while ignoring the fact that the outright card-carrying Communists in the Knesset were part of bloc that voted to keep Bibi in power.
Weird stuff.
The press is an enemy
