The conflict may end without a definitive victory by either Ukraine or Russia. I don’t think that Russia will spend the body count necessary to take Kiev. However, I think Russia will want to make more gains in Donetsk, Luhansk, and the south before going to negotiations.
France, Germany, Turkey, Israel, and China have all indicated willingness to help broker a deal.

I have to ask for your definition of “actively.” If it means in a combat role, then I’d have to disagree with you; because if the US gets involved militarily, then NATO is fair game for Russia, and Poland will be its first target.

Poland might be a target anyway. Regardless of what the US and NATO might do.
The thinking along this line of thought is that Russia might not stop with Ukraine and decide to invade Belarus and of course maybe even Poland. To hedge their bets Poland wanted to send their MiGs to the US to deploy to Ukraine guaranteeing US and Polish involvement in this war.
And of course if that happened, Poland could count on US military support as an ally.

He has a Press Conference demanding a Constitutional change to require a Balanced Budget, and then he votes for a 1.5T Pork Bill.

He just chases opportunities to opine publicly about things. He knows a voting majority only remember he said something that sounded good, very few people will be able to point out that in many of these public statements he contradicts himself.
