Like so many others I am sickened by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and the gigantic humanitarian crisis it continues to create. #StandWithUkraine️
At DuckDuckGo, we've been rolling out search updates that down-rank sites associated with Russian disinformation.
In addition to down-ranking sites associated with disinformation, we also often place news modules and information boxes at the top of DuckDuckGo search results (where they are seen and clicked the most) to highlight quality information for rapidly unfolding topics.
Bye!
Thanks.
@brave is the go to.
“Seems they all eventually go over to the dark-side.”
DDG remains on the dark side by depending on Bing for search results.

I was wondering if Yandex was going to come up when I clicked the other day.
While I thin DDG offers a good safer alternative to Google for sure, it is sad to see them ALTER Search Results.
Many thanks 👍
US disinformation is easy to spot.
The mass media outlets use the exact same words in articles about the exact same topic.
Took a little while longer then expected.
Twitter Hammer. Get Woke, Go Broke. CEO will apologize tomorrow.

Oh crap...not DDG too?
Let the sexrch results stand alone...stop messing with them...that is NOT your job!
In the words of the immortal George H. W. Bush, as portrayed by Dana Carvey:
“Russian disinformation? Not gonna do it! Wouldn’t be prudent at this juncture! Russian disinfo: BAD! Ukrainian disinfo: GOOD!”
Everyone should hang on for a few days, since DDG could reverse this decision. Although now they will always be suspect.
