Most Ukrainians are against accepting the terms of the Russian Federation (Ukrainian Poll Results March 3-4, 2022)
Info Sapiens Polling ^ | 3/9/2022 | ORB International Research UK

According to the all-Ukrainian nationally representative survey conducted by Info Sapiens for the British Research Agency ORB International on March 3-4, 2022, 79% of Ukrainians are against the official recognition of the previously occupied areas of the Donbass region as part of Russia, 75% are against the official recognition of Crimea as part of Russia, and 56% are against the ban on Ukraine’s membership in NATO even if it ends the war.

88% have a positive attitude towards Volodymyr Zelensky – the President of Ukraine, and only 8% have a negative attitude. As for Viktor Yanukovych, the situation is quite opposite – 87% have a negative attitude towards him and only 6% have a positive attitude.

36% are positive about Petro Poroshenko, while 57% are negative about him. As for Yuriy Boyko, it’s 15% vs. 55%, respectively (19% state they do not know who it is). For Yevhen Murayev, it’s 10% vs 40% (42% do not know who it is).

67% are personally willing to put up armed resistance to stop the Russian occupation of Ukraine: in particular, 78% of men and 59% of women.

66% of Ukrainians believe that ordinary Russians are to blame for armed aggression, while 30% state they are not to blame.

Regarding the personal situation, 8% of Ukrainians left their home and moved to other settlements in Ukraine (we did not survey those who went abroad, but only 14 persons out of them were willing to be interviewed – probably most refugees did not respond due to a high cost of roaming).

The most common reasons why they did not leave: “it’s my home and I won’t leave it” (51%) and “I want to fight, defend” (22%).

34% of Ukrainians feel unsafe during the day and 50% – at night.

51% are worried about running out of food, and 39% are worried about running out of water.

Information on the research

The research sample includes 1024 respondents. The survey was conducted with a CATI method (computer-assisted telephone interviews) based on a random sample of mobile phone numbers. The sample is representative for the adult population (18+ years) of Ukraine by gender, age, settlement size, and residence region. The Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol were excluded from the study. In addition, in the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, the survey was conducted only in the territories controlled by Ukraine. Also, the survey does not cover Ukrainians who went abroad.

The maximum theoretical error does not exceed 3.1%. The survey was conducted on March 3-4, 2022.

“Why should they leave the homes and cities that they were born in?”

IF Mexico invaded the USA to liberate the Mexican-American population, and those Mexican-Americans fully supported the invaders, what would you suggest doing with that population after the war?

Would you oppose sending them back to Mexico?

“The FACT the Soviets stood down is because we approached them from a position of strength, while keeping the interactions from exploding into war. That is the difference between a civilized country and one lead by the KGB thug Putin.”

We’ll see who’s ‘in a position of strength’ soon enough, Ukraine or Russia.

But thanks for making my point, PERFECTLY.

Putin’s Russia sure seems idiotic to me. No freedoms, liberties, civil rights, unless you agree with Pout’n Putin.

The Russian will leave and they will never be back again. Ukraine is going to get Harpoon ship killers and any navy ship near Crimea/Sevetapol is going to be sunk.

The Russians have to occupy or all of these thousands of dead Russians die for nothing.,

You do know that Ukraine, like Cuba, gave up its nukes with a signed agreement for Russia to respect its borders.

If in 1973 the USA had again tried to invade Cuba, and taken a slice of the country, what should the Cubans have done?

If your neighbor already violated one agreement, the only option is to find someone else to defend you.

So, Zelensky is the slave of the pollsters.

His weakness is revealed more and more every day.

We also don’t have to pay for their defense, and subject our country to ruin by advocating for them.

If you think polling doesn’t matter to Putin, you’re very naive.

That’s why he threw his military overboard today about the conscripts that have been killed or captured in Ukraine.

The dead and captured 18 year old conscripts situation is not polling well in Russia with the Russian version of soccer moms.

The question is whether our hypothetical 1973 invasion would have been ‘aggression’ if Cuba had re-armed with nukes, as Ukraine was trying to do:

It’s Russia’s call, Israel is faced with a similar situation, being well-armed people who hate them, and they managed to pull back from just about everywhere they had occupied and have survived that way for quite a while.

Crimea was always historically Russian and was transferred to Ukraine as an administrative thing during USSR. It was never Ukrainian and Russia is not going to surrender it again.

“Zelensky = Churchill”

Really?

When Churchill gave his “we will fight them” speech, a speech the comedian imitated the other day.

Churchill didn’t have panzers rolling around the British Isles 24/7.

I don’t see the similarity, plus Churchill was fatter.

The FACT the Soviets stood down is because we approached them from a position of strength, while keeping the interactions from exploding into war

Begging other countries to get into the fight we fanned the flames on is hardly a show of strength. Bet you think Biden going to Caracas to beg for oil is a sign of strength too?
