Most Ukrainians are against accepting the terms of the Russian Federation (Ukrainian Poll Results March 3-4, 2022)
Info Sapiens Polling ^ | 3/9/2022 | ORB International Research UK

According to the all-Ukrainian nationally representative survey conducted by Info Sapiens for the British Research Agency ORB International on March 3-4, 2022, 79% of Ukrainians are against the official recognition of the previously occupied areas of the Donbass region as part of Russia, 75% are against the official recognition of Crimea as part of Russia, and 56% are against the ban on Ukraine’s membership in NATO even if it ends the war.

88% have a positive attitude towards Volodymyr Zelensky – the President of Ukraine, and only 8% have a negative attitude. As for Viktor Yanukovych, the situation is quite opposite – 87% have a negative attitude towards him and only 6% have a positive attitude.

36% are positive about Petro Poroshenko, while 57% are negative about him. As for Yuriy Boyko, it’s 15% vs. 55%, respectively (19% state they do not know who it is). For Yevhen Murayev, it’s 10% vs 40% (42% do not know who it is).

67% are personally willing to put up armed resistance to stop the Russian occupation of Ukraine: in particular, 78% of men and 59% of women.

66% of Ukrainians believe that ordinary Russians are to blame for armed aggression, while 30% state they are not to blame.

Regarding the personal situation, 8% of Ukrainians left their home and moved to other settlements in Ukraine (we did not survey those who went abroad, but only 14 persons out of them were willing to be interviewed – probably most refugees did not respond due to a high cost of roaming).

The most common reasons why they did not leave: “it’s my home and I won’t leave it” (51%) and “I want to fight, defend” (22%).

34% of Ukrainians feel unsafe during the day and 50% – at night.

51% are worried about running out of food, and 39% are worried about running out of water.

Information on the research

The research sample includes 1024 respondents. The survey was conducted with a CATI method (computer-assisted telephone interviews) based on a random sample of mobile phone numbers. The sample is representative for the adult population (18+ years) of Ukraine by gender, age, settlement size, and residence region. The Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol were excluded from the study. In addition, in the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, the survey was conducted only in the territories controlled by Ukraine. Also, the survey does not cover Ukrainians who went abroad.

The maximum theoretical error does not exceed 3.1%. The survey was conducted on March 3-4, 2022.

I doubt the veracity of that poll, but if they want to fight it out, nobody is stopping them. I’m sure the US neocons would prefer they continue fighting so they can continue demonizing Putin.

How do you poll people who are hiding in their basements, without electricity?

People who are evacuating as fast s they can?

This cannot be an accurate poll.

Zelensky = Custer at Little Big Horn.

Your neo-Nazi buddies, Speedy, are going to be slaughtered if they don't surrender.

“Crimea and Donbass don’t want to be part of a government that was fomented illegally by Ukrainian nationalists that hate Russians and Russian culture.”

Their future is what happened to the German speakers in Poland and Czechoslovakia after WWII.

If your presence has inspired an illegal invasion you have to leave. If some of the folk in Crimea and the Donbass want to be Russians they must move to Russia.

So this isn't really a poll of all of Ukraine.

It would kinda like a poll that said "87 percent of Americans approve of the Joe Biden" while excluding all the counties that voted for Trump.

Why should they leave the homes and cities that they were born in?

Good point, probably more Daily Mail type stuff. Considering the number of Russians in Ukraine, some of the results make it look as though every Ukrainian is supporting the government. But why? Russia isn’t demanding a change in government, and for the half of the people that live in Kiev and West, nothing will change for them, if they accept.

Putin is an arm chair general, with less experience than corporal Hitler.

He’s a desk jockey KGB punk who is the biggest pussy in the entire world, for bombing civilians, due to his impotent army.

Soviet offensive missiles were emplaced on Cuba, a far greater threat to the U.S. than Zelenskyy ever posed to Putin. Further, we didn’t need to invade Cuba, nor did Putin need to invade Ukraine. That POS is a war criminal who will in time get a comeuppance.

The Ukrainians would prefer other people to fight their war.

“Why should they leave the homes and cities that they were born in?”

Maybe because some people seem to be into Ethnic Cleansing, at least when approved by the media/DNC/Soros.

Our Deep State is rotten. At every turn, it's the one lying.

The Ukrainians polled are the ones whose opinions will determine if Zelensky will accept Putin’s current terms.

That is the purpose of this poll.

To determine the likelihood of Zelensky coming to a settlement or continuing to fight.

“And, Russia isn’t going to tolerate NATO on their doorstep. “

If they take Ukraine, that is what they will have. NATO countries doubling their military spending due to idiot Putin.

But, alas, Russia may take Ukraine, but they will not hold it.

You’ve never spoken with anyone who’s ever had to live under the Russian jackboot, have you?

If a bigger, badder, better armed neighbor invaded and occupied your house, killing some members of your family, do YOU surrender, or do you fight to the death?

“Soviet offensive missiles were emplaced on Cuba, a far greater threat to the U.S. than Zelenskyy ever posed to Putin. Further, we didn’t need to invade Cuba, nor did Putin need to invade Ukraine.”

The FACT that the Soviets stood down PREVENTED our invasion, and you know that (Zelensky had the same option). As to ‘offensive missiles’, is Putin supposed to ‘trust’ people who framed him for stealing an American election? I certainly wouldn’t, given the level of HATRED towards him even prior to the invasion.

And by the way, what, exactly, has Zelensky agreed to with Putin regarding the limiting of NATO bases and missiles?

Russia has no intention of holding it, they’re not idiots. But they will be back if Ukraine starts posing a threat to them again.

Something to be said about Hitler. He was gassed during WWI, temporarily going blind as a result. It was for that reason he ruled out using chemical weapons during WWII, well at least in combat.

The FACT the Soviets stood down is because we approached them from a position of strength, while keeping the interactions from exploding into war. That is the difference between a civilized country and one lead by the KGB thug Putin.
