The Russian military on Tuesday claimed that Ukraine hosts a "network of more than 30 biological laboratories"...
Nuland confirmed that Ukraine has biological research facilities...
"We are working with the Ukrainians on how they can prevent any of those research materials from falling into the hands of Russian forces should they approach,"

The concern isn’t that the Russians obtain bio weapons. The concern is they will have irrefutable proof that rogue elements of the US Government were developing them in foreign labs.
