If the Kremlin spokesman is noy lying, and that is a big if, this is not a terrible deal for Zelensky. When you meet an overwhelming force with an underwhelming defense, this deal is a no brainer, no matter how unfair this war is. You take it if you want to survive.to fight another day, I am sure Europe would be all over Zelensky's case to take the deal. They don’t want their energy supply to be jeopardized.

⚡️Russia claims it will stop the war immediately if Ukraine agrees to:

- cease military action
- change constitution to enshrine neutrality
- recognize Crimea as Russian territory
- recognize the Russian-controlled areas of Donetsk and Luhansk as independent states

And you see no coverage of this in the US media because the US does not want peace.

If this offer was made yesterday and was truly handed down by Putin I would have expected to have heard some type of response by now. Maybe there was, but I haven’t seen anything on any news sites.

Putin is counting on the puppet Zelensky to reject it.

Russia has spent blood and treasure attempting to re-occupy everything East of the Dneiper and along the Black Sea - the same land that was incorporated into Russia under Peter I and Catherine II “The Great” in the 1700s’

I can’t imagine them ever giving it back.

So in-effect accept my takeover of large chunks of your Country while ensuring you remain weak and without allies so I can come back later for the rest.

I agree with you. Those are reasonable terms. Crimea and those areas are more Russian than not.

BOTH regions have ALWAYS had "special conditions" attached to their being part of Ukraine. And IIRC, they were considered Independent areas.

And that dumb a** Krushchev should have NEVER "gifted" Crimea to Ukraine.

That Civil War, and that's what it is, in the Donblast region has been going on for years...

When the coup happened and the Chocolate King was installed...he promoted the hate of Russians...even ordering "No more Russian Language" etc etc. He was a filthy, rich b******.

I'm tryting to be honest..No one likes this war.

Counter-the Crimea becomes independent also if the other two are. Under joint protectorate of the Ukraine to the north and the Russians to the east.

Watched a report today-not MSM BTW, where a free lance reporter in the Ukraine battlefield is following a bunch of Ukrainians who are out collecting abandoned Russian military equipment. One being a mobile surface to air launcher. Lots of mobile artillery pieces and armored transportation equipment.

And the Ukrainians know how to use the stuff.

The Russian advanced forces are running out of fuel and getting out and walking away.

It’s a bad deal in that it gives Putin everything he really wanted in the first place. And so his aggression will be rewarded. But I think you’re right with your comment above.

In a way, it’s like the 1938 Munich agreement that gave Hitler the Sudetenland. “Peace in our time.” (I’m roughly comparing agreements here. But I’m not comparing Putin to Hitler. Not yet, anyway).

It sounds like a good deal to me . I also think Ukraine needs to sign an agreement keeping them out of our elections and bribing our politicians.

The Russians are dilly-dallying their ‘invasion’ until the Ukrainians are out of supplies and arms. Thanks to US and UN delays, Vlad can run out the clock on the Ukrainian resistance!!

Then they will launch their effort with new force

Putin is losing, and he knows it.

Zelensky should tell Putin to get out of Ukraine, and return Crimea.

Putin’s is at the end of the line. The military, citizens, and oligarchs have had enough of him.

Russian soldiers will.find every excuse aginable to not enter Kiev where they know they will die.

So many actual great statesmen told is for years that is what Putin wanted, not “Reconstructing the Soviet Empire!”tm, as many gaslighters claim.

And if Ukraine kept poking the Bear, at US prodding, he would invade and get exactly that. Listen to Lee Smith:

All the braniacs in The State Department caught again with their thumbs up their butts. We are led by idiots, and WWIII is the closest its been in my lifetime.
