The reason we know Ukrainian officials are trying to goad the US into war is because that’s exactly what they say they’re doing. There is no ambiguity here — at this very moment, a furious multi-front lobbying blitz is underway to solicit full-fledged US military intervention in Ukraine, and therefore open warfare against Russia. To put it bluntly, a foreign country’s representatives are doing all they possibly can to instigate the closest thing anyone on Earth has ever experienced to World War III.
At the forefront of this campaign is the president, Zelensky, who’s been transformed overnight into an international folk hero. His nonstop lobbying offensive included a soaring address Friday to what some media outlets ludicrously described as an “anti-war rally” in Frankfurt, Germany. Such a description is ludicrous because the headline takeaway from the rally was Zelensky passionately condemning the alleged cowardice of NATO countries — for, as yet, refusing to launch a war against Russia. “All the people who die from this day forward will also die because of you, because of your weakness,” he inveighed. In his pro-war advocacy, Zelensky uses the same clever euphemism that has now entered heavy circulation: “No Fly Zone.” At this point, everyone with a bare-minimum understanding of what a US-administered “No Fly Zone” would entail has readily acknowledged that it means direct war with Russia — and by extension a radically increased risk of nuclear annihilation.

Yep. And if Mexico wants to build a giant army and take back land that was rightfully theirs, land that they lost in war, they can do that. I'd even go so far as to say they'd probably be cheered on Twitter for doing so.

I’m 72. Served 8 years, 68-76. One of the most lasting impressions I got from the time from when I was 17-18 was a comment (from some source I can’t remember now) was that the sole purpose of the US goal in Viet Nam was to show the communist bloc that the US was committed to an indefinite (maybe unwinnable) war for ‘democracy.’ That cost us 50K plus dead.
It’s really hard to divine motives with Russia and China, I think, but I wouldn’t put it past either to consider pulling-their-punches to protect any potential technological advantage they may think they’d have if they thought they could accomplish their goals with second-tier capability.
Where the proof will be seen is if a no-fly zone is established and whether Russia pulls in their latest double-digit SAM systems (S-300 and S-400s) to handle the no-fly policing - IMO, that’s why NATO has already said they aren’t going to do it.
No, we can just see clearly how global elites want your kids to fight in another endless war that they can profit from and steal more of our dwindling liberties from. Nobody is saying Putin is a Saint.

I suspect that the end is already determined, regardless of the SM, MSM and propaganda coming from the anti-Russia contingent. Int he end, it all depends on what Russia does and where they settle in on what they plan to control in the long term.

True. From what I have seen so far, FOX News sounds like a propaganda arm for war with Russia. Almost every so=called expert (that I have seen) on FOX has supported war with Russia. I turned to FOX numerous times yesterday, and every single time the only topic was Ukraine, no other news.
