Anyone able to input best locations to eat really good sushi in Austin these days. Know of a good place in Pflugerville, but haven't been in a long time. Thanks in advance.
Make sure you eats sushi at restaurant that is run by Japanese with Japanese trained sushi chefs . Most of USA sushi joints are run by Chinese , Koreans , Vietnamese , Thais , etc...Americans can’t tell the difference .
Yup, thats why I recommended Kura. Plus you’ll pay about 1/2 what the typical boutique place charges. I have over 300 plates on the Kura frequent eater card so $$ paid do matter. :)

Bulgogi is Korean.
“Ginza Japanese Restaurant on San Felipe in Houston is the best sushi”
If you eat there, try the Kura on Westchase instead. Your bill will be 1/2 to 1/3 as much for eating the same sushi.
Thank you! It is always better to be professional and polite. Folks on FR really need to be careful about that. Those who can not be are not true Freepers, but rather liberal leftists trying to sow discord.
Where is it?

Right
Thank you for the Kura sushi tip. Not far from me at all. Yes, Ginza is pricey.
“Bulgogi is Korean.”
True, but when I was in Japan, about half the times my Japanese colleagues took me out to eat something they thought was great there, it was Korean BBQ. Never sushi, never Teppan-yaki. To me that is like telling me Mexican food is not Texan. Or BBQ isn’t Texan, it comes from barbacoa, Spanish.
Anyway MMTU can and would pick from the meat options on the bento.
Thank you. I try, and agree.
Georgetown has a new sushi bar, Ichiro, which is very good.
It’s a great little town. Great BBQ places everywhere..
Yes, in Florida.................
