AstraZeneca Covid-19 Vaccine caused Tasmania man's death: Coroner Finds

The death of a Tasmanian father of four who collapsed while on a family holiday was caused by side effects of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine, a coroner has found.

Ian William McDonald Reed, 44, had a headache for four days after receiving the vaccine in July last year.

He was holidaying with his family on Tasmania's east coast when he suddenly collapsed on July 13.

Mr Reed was airlifted to hospital where doctors discovered intracerebral haemorrhage - a type of stroke involving a blood vessel rupturing and bleeding inside the brain and abnormal blood clotting.

Despite neurosurgical intervention, Mr Reed did not recover and died on July 16.

In a report handed down on Friday, coroner Simon Cooper found Mr Reed died from a "rare but recognised" complication of the AstraZeneca vaccine .

"It is in fact a complication of the immunological response to vaccination," the coroner found.

Mr Reed's wife questioned whether there had been adequate information about the vaccine's risks and side effects.

"I am satisfied that at the relevant time there was sufficient information available as to the potential side effects associated with the AstraZeneca vaccine."

Well, that's a relief!

Bet he wouldn't have been satisfied if his wife had been the one to "stroke out."

On a Fox Sport special, Remembering Shane Warne, his long-time friend and manager James Erskine revealed the moment his colleague Andrew Neophitou found the cricket legend.
‘Shane had sort of decided he was going to have three months off and in fact he wanted a year off, and I said ‘there’s no way you can have a year off, they would’ve forgotten you by a year,’ so he decided to have three months off,’ Erskine told the program.
‘And this was just the start of it, and they’d only arrived the day or night before.’

It’s believed Neophitou was in the room next door to Warne at the luxury Samujana Villas on the Thai island of Koh Samui.
‘They were going to have a drink at 5pm or go and meet someone to go out and have a drink at 5pm, and Neo knocked on his door at 5.15 because Warnie is always on time.
‘And he went in there and said “come on, you’re going to be late” and then realised something was wrong.
‘And he turned him over and gave him CPR and mouth to mouth, which lasted about 20 minutes and then the ambulance came.
‘They took him to the hospital, which was about a 20-minute drive and I got a phone call about 45 minutes later saying he was pronounced dead.’...

‘He didn’t drink much. Everyone thinks he’s a big boozer but he’s not a big boozer at all,’ Erskine said.
‘I sent him a crate of wine, 10 years later it’s still there. He doesn’t drink, never took drugs, ever. He hated drugs so nothing untoward.
‘He was going to do the things he likes doing. He was going to play in one or two poker competitions, play a lot of golf, be with his kids, that was about it; [to] have time to himself.’...

recently, Warne was scathing in his attacks on Novak Djokovic, stating Australia had the right to throw him out of the country if he refused to get vaxxed.
therefore, many people are asking if being vaxxed played any
part in Shane Warne’s death.

an autopsy is being carried out in Thailand - can it be trusted? will his family organise another when his body is returned to Australia?

Warne died from a massive heart attack the day after another Australian cricket legend, Rod Marsh, died of a massive heart attack at age 74.
