CNN is set to launch its streaming service CNN+ later this year, and the network has now revealed the subscription rates.
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, the streamer will launch at $2.99 a month, which will be locked in for life for early subscribers, so long as their accounts remain active. This promotional deal will only be available for the first month of CNN+’s launch; after that, subscriptions will cost $5.99 a month or $59.99 a year.
There is also expected to be a cheaper, ad-supported tier and a CNN+/HBO Max bundle, according to the Los Angeles Times. Further details on those subscriptions and when they will be unveiled are not currently available.

$2.99 cents a month...
Let’s see how long this lasts.
Haha! S.M.H.
Better yet, just drop cable.
Not even if they paid me.
No one is watching for “free” who are they expecting to pay for it?
$6 a month for CNN? Yea, good luck with that....
Clearly these streaming endeavors have very bloated ideas of their value.
I think CNN has redefined Chutzpah.
Chutzpah: When you decide to charge people for a service they weren’t accepting from you for free and expect success.
That is Chutzpah.
LOL! Hey, CNN! You need to PAY ME $5 a month to take it.
Wow, that’s cheap!
My trash service pays me $20 a month to take my trash!
Actually, no, they don’t.
This looks like a must do. Assuming you want to watch Chris Wallace. So my expectation is: No CNN+ Freeper subscribers.
There are people who pay for crack cocaine, and that will kill them.
If you were using ROKU and streaming, I could tell you. I did it, and also got rid of NBC, CBS and ABC.
Who would pay for CNN?
Is that what they are willing to pay for a subscriber?
I wouldn’t subscribe if they paid me $2.99/month.
What fool would pay money to have a bunch of insane talking heads scream at you ,LOL
CNN is going to pay me 2.99 per month?
Maybe $500/month but then I still won’t watch it.
What fools!
So they’re paying people $2.99 a month the watch?
Bahahaha, apparently, their crappy news isn’t special, enough so they are now gonna change an extra fee for their “special edition”. As though the people in the special edition are a y smarter,or more informed tha the regular newscasters.
Extra special Bilge now costs extra
Yep, and espn would be the first to fall.
Gimme $3800 a month, and I’ll have another TV Installed and put it in the basement in the corner and leave it on cnn+ 24/7... but on mute, and covered over with a lead blanket so as not to contaminate the room
