Social justice warriors (SJWs) risk infusing America with a race-based hatred that could seed the race war predicted for decades by white nationalists. As with past ideological horrors, the SJWs don't know they are doing this — they are rubes for powerful interests who pave roads to Hell with the best of virtue-signaling intentions.

A white man I have known here in Vermont for 40 years approached me confidentially, in earnest. Speaking in a hushed, almost ashamed, voice, he said, with his endearing Vermonter accent, "Johnny, my whole life I've never been a racist, but I think I may be one now. I'm so sick of hearing about this s---!"

This is not a man who spent his formative years in the Green Mountain wilderness, clueless about race (as are the majority of white Vermont SJWs prancing around cluelessly "saving the black man"). No, this is a man who grew up in downtown Springfield, Massachusetts, in a mixed-race neighborhood. This is a man I've never heard make a racist remark in those 40 years. And his "confession" to me was not an expression of pleasure or celebration — he was dismayed and even distraught at these feelings he had never had.

I have talked privately with many white Vermonters, who are becoming "woke" in a way perhaps unintended by the SJWs: they are sick and tired of endless complaints about racism and the marketization of "blackness" for commercial profit. Nike makes money by stirring the pot of racial tensions to hawk its crap products (manufactured in sweatshops abroad using child labor). In 2022, "buying black" is a cause célèbre for every product and service under the sun — massive corporations now profit by displaying their wares with black actors, showing how "enlightened" they are.

In the days of Jim Crow and lynchings it was easy to recognize racism and understand the evil. Now you’re supposed to have the same reaction to the presence of a tree in a neighborhood. So this Vermonter must be well over the age of 40 and it makes me wonder why he doesn’t have confidence in how he lived his life. My entire life as a conservative has been a resistance to change. I looked at the entire PC thing in the 90’s as people wanting me to change my language. Why should I destroy words that have a precise meaning? I worked hard on that vocabulary when I was in school. The entire “diversity is our strength” crap in the corporate world followed the PC BS. I resisted that too, and now there is this woke crap. Each step along the way I had confidence that there was nothing wrong with me and it had to be with everyone who was changing. I can only think there are a lot of weak minded people that are easily persuaded into needless and often negative changes.

Vermont is not about to “collapse under liberalism”, any more than Norway or Denmark are, and for the same reason.

What some admirers of socialism in Norway or Denmark fail to recognize are three facts:

1. It really isn't socialism and the locals may even tell you that. It is high taxes in exchange for high services.
   
2. The services are equitably distributed based on transparent criteria.
   
3. The populations are basically homogeneous with shared values or, as libtard racists might put it, too white.

When Terry McAuliffe (D) was head of the DNC, and was asked in an interview why the Dems had been so devastated in the previous election, was it because of their ‘extreme liberalism’?

I hope these virtue-signaling advertisements lead to lost business. It sure turns me off. It’s clearly an anti-white tactic. Amazing how Madison Avenue and corporate advertising departments fell for this flawed strategy. Plus it promotes racial division and is harmful to society.

Bottom line question: So is advertising today entirely about elitists in corporations virtue-signaling in obnoxious, socially damaging ways? Are they that deluded about what they are doing?
