He is D-O-N-E. Dang the bad luck. 52 is a great age to be baggin the young new attendants.
That’s what the instructor told me. I pushed back too. If you decide to test it let me know how it works out. ( I did look at the statutes, but I could not prove or disprove it. )
They also arrest folks for DWI on horseback, bikes, and golf carts.
And they arrest folks for putting their prescribed pain pills in a different container ( such as daily pill case) or having more or less left in the Rx bottle, versus the number prescribed per day. Too few left: not following Rx, drug addict. Too many, saving them so you can sell them: drug pusher.
If they put a drunk pilot in the cockpit, I want to be treated to a few barrel rolls........
So, I read the article and not one word how the pilot gets from airport security to the cockpit in order to be removed from the cockpit, given a breathalyzer and arrested.
Not one word, other than the header claiming his removal.
Richie Cunningham: “All we had was some beer. In teeny, weeny glasses.”
Howard Cunningham: “How many did you have”?
Richie: “72”.
...back when cassette recorders were the thing, I used to record Happy Days and fall asleep to it.
I was at a toll station for a NYC bridge and a guy who was drunk fell asleep/passed out in his car while in line for the toll. Fortunately his drunk driving turned out to be just an inconvenience to others.
The truth is about 15% of the population abuses alcohol and that includes pilots, politicians and surgeons. In an emergency situation, I’ll take an experienced pilot or surgeon, who have had a few, over a sober incompetent any day. As for drunk politicians, they’re not held to the same standards since they make the rules and they have failed miserably in their jobs.
You got it wrong.
NO SMOKING WITHIN 8 HOURS OF FLYING AND NO DRINKING WITHIN 50 FEET OF THE AIRCRAFT
School bus driver (CDL).
How do they know if you are a Commercial Pilot?
Moving forward they will be known as, “Jet Blew”
Lol, after NFL games, they could probably arrest half the drivers leaving the stadium for being over the legal limit.

You may want to work on reading comprehension.
Well worth 4.5 minutes. That’s back when funny was funny.
Right, commercial drivers also have the low limit.
Good question about how they know, I don’t know. A uniform would be a giveaway. I’ve had one ask me where I worked. Or it could be your bumper sticker, your flight bags, or “data fusion”.

Not worth an argument. The words are not there. A whole lot of assuming necessary.
Have you flown recently and seen what they hire for flight attendants?
The best part of that sketch is watching Dean lose it. Laughter is contagious!
