Coke Freestyle machines seem to have all of the soda flavors you could ever want. But not even the Coke Freestyle dispensers can bring back the discontinued sodas of yore. From the inventive (Coca-Cola combined with coffee, anyone?) to the truly strange (we're looking at you, bacon soda), the beverage industry has come up with some wild creations over the years.
Here are a few soda flavors that have gone the way of the dinosaur. We can't say we miss them, but it's fun to reminisce about these vintage options.

I'll have grape Nehi.
Verners was the real deal.
Ill take the first one- for medicinal purposes of course
Fresca is lame
Thanks.
I remember making strawberry floats with it at my grandparents.
What about Moxie?
“What I want to know is why Fresca still exists.”
My mom always had a case of Fresca in the fridge downstairs. I learned a couple things about Fresca.
2 shots vodka
1 healthly dollop of lime sherbet
Fresca
One day Mom took a sip of my secret Shake, and said “that’s good” and it was kind of a hit.
I like my cola Brown.
I miss vanilla and cherry Diet Coke. Those were the bomb diggety
vile stuff!
I still see Fanta and RC Cola on the store shelves. I buy RC occasionally, and we put peanuts in Coke down here in Texas.
Some people like it, and some people can’t stand the stuff.
Man I’ve never heard of any of those.
When I was a kid I used to walk up to a local luncheonette and get a fountain made cherry soda, I think it may have actually been cherry phosphate. Was better than any soda I’ve ever had. Wish I could still get that one.
no thanx ;)
fountain sodas were good-
Hmmm...invisible cola...
It is.
I’ve started drinking Mexican Coke and enjoyed Kosher Coke in Israel. Made with cane sugar and not high fructose syrup.
Also live grape Nehis.
The only one I ever tried was Crystal Pepsi, and it was so long ago, that I don’t even remember how it tasted. I did like Pepsi with Lemon when they made it. I regularly drink diet-Caffeine-free Pepsi because I’m diabetic, and because caffeine stimulates your bladder, I try to keep my caffeine intake down after my two lousy cups of coffee each day. When I was a kid, Nehi Cherry soda was one of my favorites. I grew up in Rochester, New York and we called carbonated drinks “pop.” When I moved to Auburn, New York in 1980, we had to get used to calling it “soda,” and “soda” it’s been since then.
