Coke Freestyle machines seem to have all of the soda flavors you could ever want. But not even the Coke Freestyle dispensers can bring back the discontinued sodas of yore. From the inventive (Coca-Cola combined with coffee, anyone?) to the truly strange (we're looking at you, bacon soda), the beverage industry has come up with some wild creations over the years.
Here are a few soda flavors that have gone the way of the dinosaur. We can't say we miss them, but it's fun to reminisce about these vintage options.

Lou:
You gonna order something, kid?
Marty McFly:
Ah, yeah... Give me a Tab.
Lou:
Tab? I can’t give you a tab unless you order something.
Marty McFly:
Alright, give me a Pepsi Free.
Lou:
You want a Pepsi, PAL, you’re gonna pay for it.

Back when I drank soda on a regular basis, I enjoyed
NuGrape. It was a soda with concord grape flavor.
I don’t know if it’s still sold these days except in the southern states.
Rock-n-Rye = Dr. Pepper
Nesbit Orange; Not seen.
Nehi Sodas: Not seen.

It wasn’t Sprite at all. Sprite is lemon/lime flavored.
Crystal Pepsi was techinically still “cola” flavored but omitted that caramel coloring... which more than likely had an impact on it’s flavor.

I heard that New Coke made a brief re-appearance a few years ago as part of Netflix promoting their 1980's show.
Needless to say I didn't seek it out to give it another try. LOL
