I think the US is backing the wrong side in the Ukraine invasion

I have come to believe that the US is backing the wrong side in the Ukrainian invasion, and it is not an accident.

Trump and Putin were the two most powerful nationalistic leaders in the world. They have zero interest in the Great Rest or the New World Order. They are all about their own countries--as they should be. They were chosen to lead their respective country--not as governors for some world leader we may or may not know about (Deep State).

Trump was "defeated" in 2020 at the polls and dismissed from leadership. We all know what happened with that, and there is no need to go into it any more. Biden, the ultimate puppet figurehead is now in place.

As FreeRepublic has already documented, George Soros has spoken his support for Ukraine, and Ukraine itself has spoken the quiet part out loud. This war was a trap for Putin, and he jumped in with both feet.

Putin is currently undergoing his own purge. With this invasion he was forced into, he will lose control of his country and will probably be forced into "retirement." While I was not aware of Ukrainian military abilities, it should be obvious to anyone on this board that Putin SHOULD have been fully aware of what the Ukrainian military can do, and what his own military can do. I can only conclude that he was given false information on both of these topics by his own people, leading to this invasion. It seems to me that Putin now has two options--lose this war, or go big. Both are scary for him and the world.

To our north, Trudeau is playing the puppet very well, so he will continue to "lead" Canada. I think we all know he does not call the shots up there, either.

I believe that I know who *does* call the shows around the world, but that is an opinion for another time.

Take a long look at a map of Russia just after Catherine the greats reign.

That is what Putin wants.

There were just a very few countries in power in continental Europe at that time and Russia was a major power. There were no other countries.

Might have agreed until Putin said Ukraine had no right to exist. This is basically the exact same thing Hitler said about Czechoslovakia. He wants to make Ukraine a Russian “Protectorate”.

Putin was not chosen by the people to lead his country.

I never said the people chose him. I said he was chosen.

Ukraine asked for NATO membership in 2004. It was them begging to get in all these years.

Correct. Putin, as described in Russian media, envisions a new world order where “the 500 year domination of the Anglo-Saxons is over”, a Russia extended to the boundaries of the pre-Revolution Russian empire, and power divided among the EU, Russia, China, with lesser power centers in Africa and South America.

Congrats, because you are now on over 50% of this boards sh!t list! They buy into the media narrative.

I wouldn't sweat it too much. For God's sake, we still have morons on here supporting the COVID narrative and pushing the death jabs. Some people simply can't fight against the television.

You want to back Putin. He was given false information. On something this big?
How far do you want to back him? 20 years? To Germany?

See post #29. We shouldn’t be backing, or promoting, either side here.

The key word in that phrase is “invasion”. Putin had a legitimate concern regarding the expansion of NATO. But as soon as he invaded a sovereign country, everything else became secondary.

Putin is now killing people and breaking things. He no longer deserves any sympathy or support.

I agree with you and will add that the US was the aggressor. We made a deal to not move NATO one inch closer to Russia, to allow Ukraine to become part of the organization is tantamount to a declaration of war. We are not at war with Russia, at least we weren’t when Hillary and her band of gypsys sold them a shite ton of our Uranium, just about 5-6 years ago. Barak mOsluma, was all in in their grills. He did everything but hum a tune on someones flute during his time negotiating with them. Now suddenly the long knives are out to get him.

Speaking of War Crimes, what do you call that number we did in Libya? Wasn’t Khaddafy our ally in the WOT? We came we saw, He died..cackle cackle cackle our Secretary of State Hildabeast Rodham said with obvious glee.

You don’t blow up children just because the government is “corrupt”.There are a lot of corrupt countries around, does that mean they need to be taken over?

Pooty-Poot was “forced l” to invade, huh?
What a crock of bovine excrement.
Pooty, the KGB puke thug, wannabe USSR reviver, invaded Ukraine over natural resources and the desire to have full access over the Black Sea.
Anything else, any excuses, is crap.

In the meantime, intelligence reports are coming in of a higher-than-normal popcorn microwaving in the Jinping residence.

I think we’re in a tough spot here, thanks to Joe.

If U.S. or NATO joins the fight, nukes are sure to fly.

Total shutdown of Russian economy through sanctions would also create big problems, ie, like cutting off oil to Japan in 1941.

We can’t let Russia take neighboring countries for free.

But we have an idiot for commander-in-chief.

Biden’s holding a pair of deuces.

Putin’s probably holding 2-7 but going all in anyway with squinty eyes telegraphing you want war?
