This is the nuclear target map for South Carolina, but remember, fallout can go anywhere or everywhere (and probably will). After you have looked at this map look at the Information for South Carolina that follows it.

mask up and you’ll be fine.....
We don't even need a spear or magic helmet. LOL
Just drop a couple big ones into Yellowstone.
Three foot of soil over you and a HEPA vent with a 180 elbow so it faces down. Potassium iodide pills help to. Fills up your thyroids so that there’s no room for radioactivity to get into them. NukePills.com has been around forever.
Needs some updating but a good reminder that the enemy knows where we are, now that they have Goog Earth also.
Or something like that.
But there’s nothing here about nuclear masks or nuclear distancing (or nuclear vaccines, for that matter)!

But that was paranoid thinking to get them. By the way, mine are good for another 2+ years.
In the ‘50s and early ‘60s we had a Civil Defense activity to defend the country in case of nuclear war. We also had antiaircraft missile sites ringing major cities. The Bell System constructed its major long distance routes around cities, rather than through them, with structures designed to survive 5 lb/square inch overpressure. Civil Defense plans included warning systems and plans to evacuate cities.
After missiles and warheads became plentiful, this was all abandoned when studies showed that the only result of evacuations and civil defense plans would be hordes of wounded people starving while they died of radiation.
Not South Carolina FEMA. If you're seeking South Carolina FEMA:
https://www.fema.gov/locations/south%20carolina
According to whois.com: ki4u.com -- Registered On:1999-09-25 -- Shane M. Connor --State:Texas
On the page: http://www.ki4u.com/nuclearsurvival/index.htm
"If you do nothing else here, read our myth-busting expose... The Good News About Nuclear Destruction!"
Buy your survival supplies quick before they run out. Shane M. Connor of Texas is ready to ship to South Carolina.... That's the "good news...."
"Start worrying?" DeporablePaul, are you either 1) Shane Connor, 2) shilling for Shane Connor, or 3) gullible enough to not recognize that this was not South Carolina FEMA?
asking for a friend
I think I misattributed the source. Looking more closely at the web page, I think the author is:
Bruce Beach Nuclear Survival Resources & Ark II Fallout Shelter Site
I’m not Shane Connor.
Plenty here all in on risking that
They love them some Ukraine so much now
Hi.
If you live on the water in Florida, you have a “Go bag.”
Actually, everyone should have a Go bag, but I digress.
As the crow flys, we are about 7 miles from Mac Dill AFB.
We be Post Toasties.

Let Me Die In My Footsteps-Bob Dylan
I will not go down under the ground
’Cause somebody tells me that death’s comin’ ’round
An’ I will not carry myself down to die
When I go to my grave my head will be high
Let me die in my footsteps
Before I go down under the ground
There’s been rumors of war and wars that have been
The meaning of life has been lost in the wind
And some people thinkin’ that the end is close by
’Stead of learnin’ to live they are learnin’ to die
Let me die in my footsteps
Before I go down under the ground
I don’t know if I’m smart but I think I can see
When someone is pullin’ the wool over me
And if this war comes and death’s all around
Let me die on this land ’fore I die underground
Let me die in my footsteps
Before I go down under the ground
There’s always been people that have to cause fear
They’ve been talking of the war now for many long years
I have read all their statements and I’ve not said a word
But now Lawd God, let my poor voice be heard
Let me die in my footsteps
Before I go down under the ground
If I had rubies and riches and crowns
I’d buy the whole world and change things around
I’d throw all the guns and the tanks in the sea
For they are mistakes of a past history
Let me die in my footsteps
Before I go down under the ground
Let me drink from the waters where the mountain streams flood
Let the smell of wildflowers flow free through my blood
Let me sleep in your meadows with the green grassy leaves
Let me walk down the highway with my brother in peace
Let me die in my footsteps
Before I go down under the ground
Go out in your country where the land meets the sun
See the craters and the canyons where the waterfalls run
Nevada, New Mexico, Arizona, Idaho
Let every state in this union seep down deep in your souls
And you’ll die in your footsteps
Before you go down under the ground
One may read more about Shane Connor via his address in Gonzalez, Texas -- 212 Oil Patch Ln, which is neither a FEMA site nor obvioulsy in South Carolina:

If this is what "doxxing" is, in this case knowing about someone who offers "The Good News About Nuclear Destruction!" is a valid examination.'
One finds: Ki4u, Inc (Forfeited existence) Domestic For-profit Corporation, Domestic For-profit Corporation Date Established: Oct 18, 2001 and Nukalert, L P (Forfeited existence) Domestic Limited Partnership LP, Domestic Limited Partnership LP Date Established: Apr 23, 2003
Therefore the title of the post is in several ways false. Not FEMA, Not from an entity with a 1990 date. "Nuclear Survival in South Carolina SC Fema ^ | September 1990 | Fema"
I have a go bag, but in the event of a nuke strike where would you go?
I’m 20 miles from Marine Corp air station in Beaufort and about the same to the Savannah port. I think those are the bottom 3 nuke strikes on the SC map.
ps
I used my first Covid check to buy another AR 15 and 2000 rounds. Money well spent.
I don’t know if we’ll reach this point, but this is good information to have. Thanks for posting it.
Same here; we live near Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL.
