Tired of Trump! I'm So Ready For Someone Else!

Posted on 02/26/2022 8:31:44 PM PST by redheadedshannon

Voted for him twice! Love many things about him. However, I'm not the girl who's going to follow him over a cliff any more than I am the girl who worships the establishment Bushies! I want a populist CONSERVATIVE that can win & displays an ability to learn from mistakes and remembers that none of this is supposed to be about him! 🙄

I think there are plenty of other conservatives who could win in 2024

Trump is not a conservative.

Conservatism is dead.

You can’t be afraid of aggravating people or you’ll never do anything important. But aggravating people needlessly — not as something inherent to doing anything controversial, but pissing people off to no productive purpose — is just a huge waste of political capital.

How not?

Nobody since Reagan has governed as conservatively.

Define “needlessly”.

71 million votes (real ones). Whom did he allegedly aggravate?

I love your arguments: your logic, your facts and how they counter regurgitated, over used words. Sadly I dont believe you are addressing a real human. From the title of the post to sloppy whining, all instincts tell me this is either a BOT or Ann Coulter’s sister. One of the two.

Maybe, but i'm not sure if he pissed off anyone who would actually help him if he hadn't pissed them off.

I recall it being discussed about Reagan that one of the reasons why the Democrats hated him so much was because he didn't allow them to get some credit for some of his successes.

I used to give credence to such an idea, and so the idea of trying to work with people seemed to have merit at the time, but I have now come to look at Washington DC as a vast corrupt "good ole boy" network of behind the scenes influence with far more people part of the system than most people realize.

Was Trump losing support he could have gotten, or was he just insulting people who were part of the system?

I am now inclined to think the later, but we can disagree and still be friendly if we must disagree.

You automatically think Trump is the end-all be-all, AND that if one Is not YUGE on Trump, you’re a RINO…and want RINOs.

Only because it's true. You see, Miss, if you are a 'politician', you are automatically a RINO by definition. We elected Trump twice in overwhelming numbers BECAUSE he was not a politician, said what he thought clearly, and represented US like no other before or on the horizon.

So, yes. There can be only one, because there IS only one. Any true patriot who does not acknowledge that is flawed and a detriment to the taking back and restoring this country.

I recommend you lower your standards and learn to accept a real man with a real mouth who tells you the truth. Aren't you tired of being lied to?

put a damper on the hysteria over COVID (while not quipping about drugs early on he didn’t really know about...

You act like he spoke about HCQ out of own personal knowledge base. He was listening to REAL doctors on that, not the Fauci and the other hoaxsters with a political agenda.

“Aren’t you tired of being lied to?”

You mean like his wives?

Or does that only apply to Klintoon.

See, there you go again - anyone who doesn’t think Trump is a god, is a RINO and a “detriment to the country”.

Good God.

Beware who becomes the paper-hangin SOB - and who enables it.

And yet we're both still here. It's almost as if conservatism encompasses a wide diversity of opinions as opposed to the narrow-minded cancel culture supporting SJWs.

There was a time when Donald Trump brought together the American majority, who are patriots and love this country. That coalition rose up and crushed the fat lesbian, Hillary Clinton, despite voter fraud. And then those very same people, and more, got together and with one voice, stepped on the retarded and empty Joe Biden.

But the enemy succeeded in stealing our victory, our votes, and took the reigns of power against all the laws of men.

Now, watch as our coalition fragments and the people return to the old way of politicking, squabbling over individual issues and who speaks correctly, who 'can win' and who cannot.

The frumps among us will brook no saucy tongue or street fighter. The one issue guys will obsess over their one issue, and the derps will have accomplished their goal. We will be powerless and led by those incapable of leading and who do NOT represent us.

We will continue to be led by limp-wristed, noodle armed, sexually ambiguous. nerd girl-men without accomplishment, with their good haircuts and by hairy-legged lesbians and white people hating racists who hate all normal people and this country.

And the America that was will no longer be, never to rise again.

There is considerable overlap between conservatism and libertarianism in that both oppose government favoring one group over another (aka affirmative action), onerous restrictions on businesses, and fiscal responsibility. Libertarianism and conservatism are natural allies, and setting one against the other helps only the big government leftists. I guarantee I'm not the only Paul supporter on here.

I'll break it down for you:

The term 'conservative' is no longer relevant and must be consigned to the trash heap of history. Today, it means nothing, having been co-opted by the likes of Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, and so many others who call themselves 'conservative'.

Any label one wears that requires a college course to explain the meaning of, is useless.

Henceforth, those who previously self-identified as 'conservative' (as well as so called 'libertarians') and truly are, will be known as PATRIOTS. It is a simple to understand term and requires no explanation. You either ARE a patriot or you are NOT.

Now we just have to define the America that we love, and that one right there is easy, cause it's written down in the Constitution of the United States of America.

That would be Rand Paul.

I can have no respect for a man who gets beat up like a little b*tch in his own front yard while mowing the lawn.

Next.

Trump could blow up a building and behead the survivors, ala Moslems, and you’d still be supporting him and making rationalizing excuses.

As long as they're democrats, I'm all in.

Don’t tell me it’s not true because it’s been happening heavily on FR for a long time. Cult of Personality.

You keep saying that word. I don't think it means what you think it means.

Here, I'll teach you a new one....

REPRESENTATIVE GOVERNMENT.

Trump is the closest thing to me out there. So guess what? He's my man.
