I thought that with Nazis in the news with what is going on in Canada and some comparing the World Economic Forum to the Germain party, this would be a good time to see if any FREEPERS viewed this thing from the History Channel. I think it is still streaming on Amazon.
It is quite jaw-dropping and adds additional evidence to the rumors about many top Nazis relocating to South America. It adds evidence of poison gas factories and infrastructure projects like hydroelectric power plant construction.
I was surprised this information was not more well known.

I saw it and I thought it was very compelling. They named the Hitler double that was actually shot & killed in the Bunker and then burned, the body the Russians found. And they showed the route the top Nazi’s took out of Berlin through the sewers and eventually making it secretly to somewhere in the Med if I remember then on to a U-baot for the trip to Argentina. I think it certain if that is the true story, that those Nazi’s had to have the help of some state actors including the Vatican, and I think it stated or at least hinted that it was likely the Jesuits that set up and maintained the rat lines from Europe to South America for the escaping Nazi’s.
I don’t believe the story but it’s a classic fantasy that will never die.

Yes it’s good. I’m also enjoying the Reacher series.
Hitler killed himself in the bunker. He was determined to die in Berlin and wouldn’t listen either to any of his general’s or anyone else. He made his mind up to die in Berlin and Eva Braun chose to do the same.
Berlin had never really accepted the Hitler and the Nazis.
It was too cosmopolitan in outlook to have had the fanaticism for the movement that other cities like Munich and Nuremburg had .
I suppose it was Hitler’s way of sticking it to Berliners.
Eisenhower, Kennedy, Stalin, and quite a few other top level people, all thought Hitler had escaped. The present historical consensus that he committed suicide is based on statements by hard core Nazis who were in the bunker, and they are exactly the kind of people who would have lied to cover up his escape. The skull fragment found by the Soviets was DNA tested and determined to have been a female.
Reacher series was quite excellent...and plan to binge the series again.

As an aside, Prime’s “Hunters” is a 10-episode series set in 1970s of a group of Jews hunting NAZIs in America. A bit slow at the outset but certainly grows in intensity.

I also enjoyed Jack Ryan and Bosch....but Bosch’s last season was ruined by pushing & normalizing the female homosexual subplot in every episode.
“Loudermilk” w/the actor from “Office Space” was entertaining...and a final 4th season is rumored.
I know of some Nazis, now dead, who stole away to Central America.
They married into native races in more remote areas, but brought their Nazi pictures and uniforms and such, with them.
The families generally keep quiet, but all share aspects of German looks.
Yep Bosch and Reacher were entertaining. Maisel was also good.

Hitler had Parkinson’s and a few other problems. Yes some of the German high command made it out of Germany. One Nazi scientist was going to set Argentine up as a world nuclear power with incredible amounts of energy using Nuclear fusion. He siphoned billions out of the economy and failed like a winter arrack into Russia.. F Hitler did get out of Germany he was headed for a short miserable life.
Some ‘poetic licence’ in the TV version but better than Tom cruise playing Jack reacher on the big screen. Then again, cruise may ID as 6’4” 235 lbs.
New season of maisel just started.
