Anybody using Chromium 98.0.4758.102 (Official Build) snap (64-bit)
My son upgraded it last night for me.
There are things I need google search results for and ...
When I type in search box I see the cursor move, and invisible typing occurs. The drop down suggestions appear incomplete. If I am searching for btc. I see an invisible position in the text box and the suggestions appear "itcoin, etc. The first character is invisible, even in the suggestion drop down.
Upgrades: One step forward, three step back.
That is not good, though just running the Libre Office installation should fix that. Is your profile %UserProfile%\AppData\Roaming\LibreOffice still there? Meanwhile kb5010342 would not install on this AMD desktop. Even after doing a Reset+ Reregister Windows Update Components.
Version 98.0.4758.102 (Official Build) snap (64-bit)
Running on Kubuntu 20.04 - working fine, even got google.com. I use duckduckgo.com for a search engine. Presearch is an up and coming search engine; https://engine.presearch.org
I have Chromium installed but never really use it. I use WaterFox and Brave and also Falkon which is a KDE Linux thing.
You've got malware.
I’ve been using Vivaldi (built by the people who built “Opera”) for a long time.
Vivaldi talks about how they’ve bypassed a lot of Chromium stuff but the “help\about” page shows: Chrome/98.0.4758.105. Even the vivaldi://system command doesn’t show Chromium.
Scratchin my head.
