Just like all of the Japanese soldiers hiding on islands all across the Pacific after August 1945, it will take a while to bring all the Karens back into the fold. Besides, it gives the special interest groups time to crank up the lawyers, all of the mask and test providers to write one more corruption check to the dems who have prolonged this, and provides time for all of the checks to clear the bank.

Exactly my thoughts. These crafty Dems may be buying time to think of a way to coerce mask wearing by making establishments pay fines for conditions that encourage transmission. This is something Attorney General, “Grandstanding” Bob Ferguson, would do. Washington voters were stupid to reelect Ferguson who wants to run for governor when Inslee is out of the way.
