yep, though I am not worried, CNN has 0% chance of actually getting it right and understanding why it is happening.
La Raza may not trump everything
If Hispanics start voting majority Republican, watch for the democrats to suddenly want to build the wall along the Mexican border.
It will be a complete turnaround from what they are doing now.
It would also be so delicious and ironic to see them try to limit the “voting rights” of those same immigrants.
Latinos do not have a built-in chip-on-their-shoulder from birth.
Latinos do not have a built-in excuse for failure.
Latinos do not have a inherent disrespect for authority figures.
Latinos do not want to live on welfare their entire lives.
Latinos do not make up excuses to not work, earn a living and support their families..........................
Democrats are FABulous!!!
(There isn’t enough puking possible to cover the retching they merit)
Latinos detest the term “Latinx” that liberals have imposed on them.
Get ready for the dems to call for the border wall construction to resume immediately and full enforcement of the remain in Mexico policy.
Have you not received the memo that the word “Latino” is transphobic? The correct term is “Latinx.” Tell your amigixes. Buenix Diax!
Plus they are so smoking hot.
It’s too early to know if this is a structural or temporary shift. Gallup still show Hispanics identify as Democrats over Republicans by 2-1.
Latinos like to WORK but I don’t think they can get welfare undocumented!
Well. My son’s girlfriend is Puerto 🇵🇷 Rican. My half Puerto rican niece is married to a Cuban. All conservative. As are their extended families.
Any Hispanic “shift to the right” is more than offset by demographic developments.
California demonstrates well what happens when the electorate goes from 20% Hispanic voting 80% Democrat to 40% Hispanic voting 60% Democrat.
You could say the same for asians and yet they still vote overwhelmingly for Democrats.
So, George Zimmerman was ahead of his time.
Yes, zero percent. And I see that as a good thing. Their own echo chamber is their undoing.
While it's a welcome shift I don't believe it's a trend with impact.
Let's say you have 10 Hispanics. 2 R and 8 D. Even if you can raise the number to 5 R and 5 D it's still only a wash.
Don't count on a Hispanic shift to save the Republican party.
Latinos don’t want to join a black supremacy LGBT coalition, apparently. Or, at least not all of them.
