Very often people with serious concussions and brain injuries, including strokes, don’t even realize it at the time. They just want to lie down and take a nap.
That’s one of the reasons they tell you to make sure somebody who has suffered this type of accident or incident is awake and talking, and to keep them awake and talking (while you call 911).
He was alone. I think it’s possible that he had a major fall in the shower, which is usually a heavier fall than just tripping over something in the room. Possibly it was just in the bathroom (hard surfaces). But whatever, there was nobody there to make him stay awake or call 911, because he probably felt fine...just sleepy, as his brain swelled.
I know next to nothing about him, but I can’t think of any reason Hillary would have wanted him dead.
fracturing your orbital sockets apparently is quite different than just a bump on the head in terms of thinking nothing of it.
i have read several articles from neurosurgeons on this matter.
the type of force is more consistent with a fall from great heights or getting hit in the head with a baseball bat or a high speed collision
Sometimes a cigar is really just a cigar.
The original assessment sounds plausible. I have blood pressure on the low side, and sometimes when I get up at night, I have to do it slowly or I get dizzy. I’ve had a few episodes where I’ve fallen — one fairly recently where I cracked my mouth and head. That night I had imbibed a little too much bourbon and had taken a Benadryl before bed. I went straight back to bed after I regained consciousness and looking back on it, I probably shouldn’t have. It scared the crap out of my wife.
Sounds like Saget may have had an episode similar to that.
