I’d better open this post by saying that I think Marjorie Taylor Greene is not just intelligent, but also that she’s one of the most principled and courageous people in Congress. America would be a better place if every Republican had her virtues. Having said that, though, it seems clear that she may suffer from a form of dyslexia, that sees her scramble words that sound similar. Democrats, rather than acting with the compassion they insist is their monopoly, crudely and cruelly attacked her for this obvious verbal slip.
What happened is simple: While appearing on a news show, Greene scrambled “Gestapo” and “Gazpacho.” For people like me—and, apparently, like Greene—the circuits in her brain knew one of the words was correct and sent the wrong word to her mouth:
Just to clear things up, @RepMTG

As readers of my posts (and those who speak with me) know, I do this all the time. If words start and end with the same sounds—for example, starting with a hard “G” and ending with a long “o”—I’m going to have a problem distinguishing them. It gets worse if they have similar internal consonant and vowel sounds (for example, “p” and “a”).
SNIP
Despite my word soup problem, I don’t consider myself stupid and, frankly, I don’t think anyone else considers me stupid. They may disagree with me but they’re not going to question my intelligence.
Yet that’s precisely what leftists did when Greene, who quite obviously knows the difference between soup and Nazis, got the words wrong. Indeed, they did what mean people have always done when someone displays a minor cognitive slip-up: They mocked, insulted, and tried to humiliate her.

The democRATs could be soup nazis. MTG may be on to something.
I say we embrace it just like covfefe.
They’re the Gazpacho Gestapo!
I questioned her intelligence when she said California could be in play.
I like her politics, but she’s rough around the edges. If she can handle the ridicule and keep fighting she’ll be alright.
Would you like a cup of Covfefe with your Gazpacho?
This speech critic could literally write a library of books on Biden's verbal bloopers.
I thought is was only Republicans who “pounced”.
Some here pounced on her as well.

Dont think we dont notice when you show your ass...
Was she reading cue cards?
Because unless she made those verbal mistakes while reading, that is NOT a symptom of dyslexia.
Malapropisms, eggcorns, and the like are NOT symptoms of dyslexia.

The member of the house, that since she has no committee assignments, is calling for recorded votes on all major legislation in the house, is a regular guest on Tim Pools Podcast.
Tim started out as someone who covered occupy wall street in a good light and ended up as the lefts next rush limbaugh to take down because he regularly puts people who don’t think like the MSM on a podcast with more listeners than CNN has viewers.
The Ron Paul Libertarians and Conservatives will decide 2022 and 2024 elections. The Trump supporters always have trended Libertarians as that campaign rightly sidesteps social issues that are campaign killers.
MTGs self-deprecating “no soup for them....they’re going to the ghoulash” was classic.
It shows her in a good light while showing Ds to be petty elite asses desperate to criticize. Small
I like it.
OK:)
Mispronouncing names or words, or problems retrieving words.
The same people that are over 50 genders and counting are trashing someone for using the wrong word when describing something.
Perfect example of why “whole word” teaching of reading doesn’t work. If people were taught to sound out each syllable, the way reading used to be taught, things like this would be less likely to happen.
Agree. She’s on our side and fights hard every day. These critics will only have credibility when they start speaking as loudly against the Mitch McConnells and Liz Cheneys.
Happens to me sometimes. I’ll say something like cask when I meant cast even though I know the proper usage. I even write it wrongly when I know the difference. Just the brain, mouth, hands get mixed up I guess.
Used the wrong word, yet everyone knew exactly what she meant.
