Costing more than $160 million, it is surely the most awkward film release in recent memory as several of the stars have either been canceled or the subjects of mockery and derision. “This film has become every publicist’s worst nightmare,” said an industry source. “It’s a project where everything which can go wrong has gone wrong — and there’s nothing to be done or said to make it better.
SNIP
First, there is Armie Hammer, who stars as playboy Simon Doyle in the adaptation of the 1937 Agatha Christie novel. He was accused of rape and cannibalistic desires back in January 2021.
Letitia Wright — known for “Black Panther” and cast here as grumpy Rosalie Otterbourne — has espoused what many perceived to be anti-vaccine statements.

Cannibalism? Just when you think these sick Hollywood freaks can’t get any worse, they somehow manage to do so.
The end is near folks. The end is near. No question about it.
Gotta see this movie. Kenneth Branagh as Poirot is enough of a reason.
Gal Gadot is a truly beautiful woman. (But still not buying any movie tickets)
I’m not sure why they even decided to remake this story yet again.
She’s bineg panlized for having common sense.
In December 2020, Wright received backlash over a video she publicly shared on Twitter in which the speaker questioned the safety of taking a COVID-19 vaccine, in addition to “appear[ing] skeptical of climate change, accus[ing] China of spreading COVID-19, and mak[ing] transphobic comments”;[28] YouTube has since deleted the video for violating its terms of service.[28] Wright later clarified that she “wasn’t against vaccines but it was important to ‘ask questions’” and “my intention was not to hurt anyone, my ONLY intention of posting the video was it raised my concerns with what the vaccine contains and what we are putting in our bodies”.

When was the last time? It was probably Branagh’s idea.
“Weird”
Evil makes sense.
Sophie Okonedo is in it. She was onstage in London, as Cleopatra opposite Ralph Fiennes, and she was great. I’ve never seen her in anything else, but there are immortal longings in this one. I’d go see her again.
She lost he whole team of agents and representatives over it.
So woke arseholes are triggered by the actors?
the film may be worth seeing after all.
Well there were a couple of TV versions and a 1978 movie and then it was done again in the David Suchet Poirot series. Suchet’s portrayal is going to be one heck of a hard act to follow.
She’s not in the picture very long. Her character is the victim.
Armie complained that he was groped by a famous Hollywood producer at a party at a time that rising stars we’re supposed to just bend over and take it. Gal Gadot is Israeli and doing quite well in her career, her crime as a Jew she’s supposed to hate herself and her religion. In Hollywood if you step off the reservation they try to crush you any way possible. I’ll be seeing this film.
Maybe in the 70s?
Her "crime" was having a bunch of celebrities sing a stupid song with her and act like they were doing something. Not a crime, but she did look foolish.
Hammer was groped? I thought it was Brendan Fraser?
No one cares.
Do you actually care or have interest in this movie industry
PR article?
Have you actually heard of thus movie? (Not the old one).
