There’s no point in worrying about the virus. The virus doesn’t care if you worry about it. If you sit people in a room and have half of them worry and half not worry and blow virus on them, the two groups will get equally infected.
Why would you think about worry? It’s meaningless.
As for masks and boosters, Israel led the charge on all that. They don’t care what Fauci thinks. They reason it out correctly. The virus doesn’t care what he thinks so why should they care what he thinks.
Look, it comes down to this. Weak minded people cannot bear the thought of an overwhelmingly powerful enemy and that’s what the virus is. So they prefer to think about gov’t attitudes and behaviors and talk about those. It is the equivalent of victims in horror films realizing there is a monster killer coming for them and choosing to discuss government tax policy instead.
It’s there. It kills you if you’re over 65. It kills your parents if you aren’t. Government policy doesn’t stop it. Only evacuation does, per NYC.

That’s important data. An office is an 8 hour exposure to contained virions. You don’t just get a breath or two walking past someone.

Lesson: Govt actions do nothing. Govt mandates do nothing. The only defense is people locking themselves down.
That was a factor. Empty subways and skyscrapers. Also, NYC was hit hard in the initial outbreak in Spring of '20. So people had some partial immunity already. Other places were not hit yet, especially California which suffered the worst of it in winter '20-'21.
