Keith Wilson is the lawyer representing the “Truckers for Freedom” organization. Earlier today, prior to the GoFundMe announcement, Mr. Wilson posted a video message for everyone concerning the earlier announcement made by the Ottawa Police chief Peter Sloly. [Background Story]
One note: I believe the referenced Canadian Freedom Charter was suspended as part of the national state of emergency declared by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau as the justification for the restrictions now being protested.

The outlined measures include deploying an additional 150 municipal police officers and undercover federal agents to infiltrate the protest and gather intelligence useful for the purpose of eliminating their effort.

And therein lies one of the many rubs, right.....It would appear that Trudeau and Sloly received some visitors from the J Edgar Hoover building and the DOJ where they got a quick PowerPoint presentation on how to frame and entrap citizens. So, when an undercover guy has a recording of a "trucker" talking about how they're gonna storm the building with homemade explosives and hunting rifles, Canada can start cracking heads and locking these guys up. Who can challenge them? Who can refute the claim? Will the government produce the witnesses?
Hmmmmm......where have I seen this before? Two recent places/events that I can think of.
This is going to end in disaster.
On a side note, for now, the Canadian Military has told Sloly to pound sand. However, I doubt that will last, once careers are threatened and they decide to bow to Trudeau to save their jobs.
Any undercover infiltrators that are caught and identified should be tied to the backs of the trucks and dragged through the street. These people are are enemies, we are at war and need to fight. I know this is a harsh comment but we are not voting are way out of this.
Maybe, but it is the weekend, and I imagine the military has gone home.

When donors gave their money they entered into a contract. If GMF unilaterally changed the terms of that contract after the fact they are guilty of breach of contract.
If the terms of the GFM contract prohibited this kind of fund raising but allowed this fund raising and then cut off the fund raising, GFM is guilty of fraud.
In court the plaintiffs have to ask, if this fund raising was prohibited by the GFM terms of use why did GFM allow the fund raising in the first place?
If GFM claims criminal acts negate the contract, they will have to explain why BLM was funded during government imposed curfews, riots, destruction, arrests, and looting.
And that is just what they want.
I support what these truckers are doing. 100%.
But, I’m not so sure they have the support that we all hope they do.
But, dragging someone through the street is a bit much, these days. However, stripping him down to his thermals, hands taped behind his back, marched in front of every news camera they can find and handed over to the cops. Now, that would make for some good tv.
Those on the sidelines doing nothing are always the biggest talkers about what to do.

For now, they need the money NOW. Not months down the road and an apology after the fact.
If the truckers’ lawyers could get in a courtroom to force the issue, that might help. Good luck getting in a courtroom.
Now, some enterprising soul setting up a Canadian version of a 501c3 and doling out the money....that might work.

This isn’t going to end well.
And, at the end of the day, if those 150 were worth a crap and actually cared, they’d be getting into those crowds, quietly letting the truckers know who they are and to watch their language. Don’t give the cops or government any reason to do ANYTHING.
Hang out and sip coffee or some bourbon with them, to stay warm. Other than that, wander around and tell Sloly that you haven’t seen or heard anything.

I agree with your comment and it does apply to myself. I’m just so frustrated watching for decades what has been going on and it only gets worse. At the end of the day, the truckers protest will be like the yellow vests in France. Nice optics but accomplished nothing.
WOW.......folks need to start paying attention. If they haven’t woke up by now, I doubt they ever will.
Every member of Congress should be a Blue Collar man/woman or a “SMALL” business owner. Someone that deals with or has dealt with the IRS, directly. Not through a team of tax attorneys and accountants.
All the truckers need to go home and park their rigs. Set up the adopt a trucker for supporters can subsidize their strike. Stop feeding the beast and listen to the control freaks squeal.

The truckers should still discuss this with attorneys.
If GFM changed the terms after the fact they're still guilty of breach of contract. If the GFM terms we in place when the GFM account was started GFM has to explain why they allowed the account in the first place.
I contacted OH AG Yost. If this isn’t resolved quickly consider class action
