Law? Law? What is this foreign word thou speakest of? Liberals deal,in subjective rules, irregardless of what the law or constitution or inalienable rights declare.
Too bad I lost all of mine in a lake
Laws do not apply to them, they are above the law.
The laws are what the democrats say they are.
The 10th Amendment expressly prohibits much of what the federal does these days … including all current federal firearms laws.
The law hasn’t stopped Biden or the swamp yet.
those who support and implement this registry are in direct violation of their oath to uphold the constitution and can be said to be an insurrectionist.
Laws only matter if they’re enforced. Republicans only follow laws, they don’t enforce them. Democrats don’t follow laws, and they’ll make up crimes to enforce.
Now we’re safe and it feels so good. /S
Can’t someone file suit and get a Court Order to dismantle that database? It looks like a very clear violation of Federal law.
Cheap posturing by a politico.
If they image old paper documents, and store those images so that they can destroy the old paper and save storage space and cost, they’ve built the bones of a registry database. To be able to access a given image (same as hunting through files), they have to OCR - now the bones have flesh, and it’s a defacto registry database.
There’s no going back from that. Rules or no rules, laws or no laws.
And even if someone manages to get in and force them to delete any sort of database they have, SOMEONE will stash it, and be the hero when it’s “found” at the next political turnover.
ANY CONVERSION OF paper documents like 4473’s to any other medium is indicative of at least a proto-registry database. Even putting these in old tech like microfiche only slows the process slightly - lots of that old media is being quickly converted to digital.
To truly keep these records out of the system is to keep the records from being transferred in the first place, which would be illegal. Unless the fires at the sellers records room could be proven to be accidental. Which is going away with the direct digital 4473 submissions now being used in many places.
Or there could be another great document cookout, like they did in 1973 in St. Louis. [Conspiracy theory #24574 - how to reduce veterans claims in the future...]
And interestingly, we haven’t seen one Governor take the Fed’s to court using that amendment.
But what about the federal tax dollars? What about Florida, Georgia, Texas, etc etc withholding monies from DC
Yes, the dreaded “unfortunate boating accident”.

Instead of Law and Order its:
How to prevent selective prosecution in law enforcement? Replace the Prodigal Prosecutors who refuse. And to get rid of the cabbage patch Soros commie prosecutors? Well there are many types of persuasion. And we should be using ALL of them.
Private gun ownership is so inconvenient for wannabe mass-murdering psychopaths.
I’m on the list for buying a mini-14 from a dealer who closed shop. Sold the thing because you couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn with it. So question is is the information correct about who owns the gun? The answer is no.
Standing.
Whenever someone tries to sue to point out that the government has broken the law, the government protects itself by throwing such suits out for lack of standing. Doesn't matter how obvious the standing is, it's a lack of standing.
