*There’s still quite a bit of uncertainty in:

- FL, where Rs are debating how aggressive to be
- NC/OH, where courts may order big changes to GOP maps
- PA, where the state Sup Ct will select a map
- AL/LA/SC, where SCOTUS could decide on additional Black opportunity seats

This is why I’ve changed my mind about a Convention of States.

When it comes to politics, Democrats always run rings around the GOP.

“Yet red states has a net plus on electoral college votes because of the census?”

Republicans = Surrender Monkeys

Wrong. Colorado, Oregon and Nevada all gained seats, none of which are “red.”

they had a net plus

California and NY lost

Texas and FL gained

New census numbers shift political power south to Republican strongholds

Political power in the United States will continue to shift south this decade, as historically Democratic states that border the Great Lakes give up congressional seats and electoral votes to regions where Republicans currently enjoy a political advantage, according to new data from the U.S. Census Bureau.

GOP surrendered.

They don't want to win. They loved opposing Trump, they don't want to be forced to be real opposition to Biden. They'd rather lose and continue to help the dems get everything they want without the base noticing.

They are not really who they say they are. Look at what they do, not what they say.

“PA, where the state Sup Ct will select a map”

No where in the Pennsylvania state constitution does it give the courts authority to manage congressional districts. In fact, it specifically gives that authority to the legislature, EXCLUSIVLY!

Those rat judges in PA should ALL be in jail awaiting their execution. /spit.

You left this out:

“In full disclosure, a component of the shift in our scorecard’s outlook is methodological. We’re comparing the new maps to how districts *could* have broken down in ‘22 had lines not changed - hence GOP -0.5 each in NV/OR, even though Rs won’t lose any seats there.”

Wasserman is, and always has been, a Democrat cheerleader and hack.

The courts NEVER objective to the Commie-Rat stealing of seats. But if the GOP even thinks about doing it, the courts slap them down and give extra seats to the Commie-Rats.

It’s bad, but one thing to remember is that the GOP ran all these states last time. Texas was fixed a couple of elections ago, there simply isn’t much more that can be done there.

Since 2012 the Dems have gained a collection of states, and that is where they are adding seats.

The courts have no say-so in redistricting. It’s unconstitutional...............

Florida gained one, Texas gained two. That’s two red states out of five states that gained. Besides, who’s to say that the people moving in are “conservative.” The old boomers pouring into Florida May but not everyone else.

Americans aren’t moving around like the used to. BTW: white population (ie the historically conservative population) declined not just percentage wise but in actual numbers.
