Whoopi Goldberg is "livid" after she was suspended from "The View" over her claim that the Holocaust was "not about race" -- and is telling co-workers she is going to quit the show, according to a source.
Goldberg, 66, feels "humiliated" at being disciplined by ABC execs after she followed their advice to apologize for the ill-conceived comments, a well-placed insider told The Post.
"She feels ABC executives mishandled this. She followed their playbook. She went on 'The Late Show With Steven Colbert' and then apologized again on 'The View' the next day," a source said.
The source added that while Goldberg is taking the suspension hard and says she wants to leave the show, insiders believe she's likely just sounding off.
"Her ego has been hurt and she's telling people she's going to quit," the source said. "Suspension from 'The View' is like getting suspended from Bravo. The bar is very low."
Reps for Goldberg and ABC did not return requests for comment.

No, I don’t. I believe there are consciences. Caryn Johnson has plenty of money.. she used the forum to her advantage. I believe all people have the right to voice what they believe. I just do.
ABC had no choice: they either apply their policies across the board, or they rehire previously fired people and offer retribution.
Or they admit that there is one set of rules for their employees on the left and another set of rules for everyone else.

It was all about power, every tyrannical regime needs scapegoats. Jews didn’t fit into the Nazi worldview, so they had to go, simple as that. Ditto for homosexuals (well at least the effeminate ones), gypsies, old-school monarchists, etc. Plus, the Nazis didn’t invent anti-semitism by any stretch, they pretty much correctly assumed that the rest of Europe wouldn’t lift a finger to defend the Jews, outside of paying lip service. Of course once the death camps were discovered, that all changed. But it certainly wasn’t the primary reason they fought Nazi Germany.
Goldberg may have been a way to get a job.
Don’t get me started on Levar Burton. He’s another seemingly inoffensive black actor that now spews hateful wokeness. Dead to me.
