Tom Brady hasn’t informed the Bucs that he’s retiring. Bruce Arians told me, “He hasn’t. Not even close to making up his mind yet. He told us.”

Tom Brady is retiring from football after 22 extraordinary seasons, multiple sources tell @JeffDarlington and me.

Just hit the wires in the past 10 minutes.
Yes, but are there any openings?.................
I heard Aikman is leaving for some other gig....don’t know how true that is but if he can do the commentator anyone can. Lol
I didn’t know about Aikman. I definitely think Peyton though is ahead of anyone for a prime gig.
Ironic: Inflation is up all over, and Tom Brady retires.
Well, I’m just deflated...
I’m really not sure if the five years goes from retirement announcement date, date of last played game or date of last regular season game.....which is why I said “in five years” rather than stating a specific year.
It was from a line I heard this morning on the Dan Patrick show that I liked and decided to steal.
😷
Love him or hate him. But there is no denying that he had a great career.
Rodgers is gone to Denver or he might retire too. He’s always hated playing in GB. Still pissed that the 49ers didn’t draft him
I still think there’s a greater than zero chance he goes to San Francisco, I don’t see Garappolo coming back. And SF gives him another chance at a ring, I don’t see it happening in Denver.
Interesting.
That year may be the largest crowd in HOF induction history. Steelers fans will swarm Canton due to the proximity to Pittsburgh and, of course, Brady's popularity will bring tons more.
Well, he couldn’t be any worse......................
The networks will be falling all over themselves to get Brady as a color commentator. Guys like Romo and Collinsworth need to be a bit more afraid their gigs are ending.
Romo is set, but yes Collinsworth’s days are numbered, but I still think they want Peyton.
Of your referring to not liking Aikman as a commentator.....I agree
I’d like to see Rodgers finish in his hometown team (SF) but they’re all in on that rookie they paid a fortune for. Rodgers isn’t going to a team with a high dollar rookie breathing down his neck. Maybe Nawlins? Nah, they’re rebuilding after Payton. I think Rodgers hangs it up too. - after everyone gets used to Tommy Touchdown being gone
He gets a lot of stuff wrong.....................
