TOKYO, Jan 31 (Reuters) - Japanese trading and pharmaceutical company Kowa Co Ltd said on Monday anti-parasite drug ivermectin showed an “antiviral effect” against Omicron and other variants of coronavirus in joint non-clinical research.
Kowa did not provide further details. The firm has been working with Kitasato University, a medical university in Tokyo.
Clinical trials evaluating the drug, which is used to treat parasites in animals and humans, are ongoing but promotion of the drug as a COVID-19 treatment has generated controversy here.
The drug is not approved for treatment of COVID-19 in Japan and the U.S. Federal Drug Administration has repeatedly warned against its use.

Or better yet, since HCQ is one of the top 100 most prescribed drugs on the entre planet, do a database search to see how many of the current HCQ users got COVID. You would think this would be the FIRST thing they asked...

HCQ, without zinc, does less than the combo of both.
IOW, zinc is the ‘’bullet’’ and HCQ is (most importantly) the carrier (ionophore) for zinc to get inside the cells.
Nothing really to read at the link. No data, but Kowa did recently commission a trial that won’t end until 31 March 2022. We’ll see what that study comes up with. I would expect this trial to be a bit higher quality than most of the previous low quality trials, but we’ll see...

No doubt. They are certainly not infallible, nor incorruptible, but the Japanese culture is pretty brutal on those who act shamefully. Unlike the third world hospitals conducting so many studies recently, a Japanese hospital having a study rejected by peers for shoddy research or falsification of data would not go well.
So ingest it to your heart’s content. I don’t think it is illegal to swallow ivermectin.
Add zinc (and vitamin C) to HCQ and/or Ivermectin and give to a patient in the first 72 hours since onslaught of symptoms and you will beat Covid. Simple and effective. Check out the protocols for treatment from America's Frontline Doctors and similar groups for doses.
Ivermectin has been studied well before COVID19 for potential antiviral properties.
The media flat out lied calling it “horse dewormer” - even if it has zero effect on COVID19, their portrayal of it as not not having any human use was a flat out lie told over and over again.
Was speaking to a colleague of mine a few hours ago. She contracted covid several days ago, Delta strain.
She never really got better and started getting progressively much worse esp with breathing etc...She was following the “recommended” treatments which were really nothing. Her PCP put her in contact with another Dr who treats COVID pts. HE took her on as a pt in a “concierge” capacity. No insurance just out of pocket.
He prescribed HCQ and Ivermectine. After taking the regimen he prescribed she felt better literally after 6 hrs and now able to travel for work.
She still has “brain fog” and High BP from it which should get better over time. Just wanted to let you know that in her case, as in many others IT WORKED!!!! As Dr McCullough mentioned in one of his interviews modern day medicine is acting incompetent and I am sure are responsible for the death of tens of thousands of our fellow citizens by not allowing Drs to tret patients the way they see fit!!!
I forgot to mention...total treatment cost for meds.....2.56...thats two dollars and 56 cents!!! FOLLOW THE MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
