That's pretty much the way it is for everyone. Work is often a colossal waste of life, but it also keeps most of the population from destroying themselves in short order.
There is a basic understanding of life that the most miserable people miss: Suffering, pain, and grief are as much part of life as joy, success, and victory. That suffering just has to be endured as part of life and it only grows worse as you age. She was on top of the world, but couldn't understand why she still had to cope with suffering. All this is magnified by social media trolls doing the work of demons, tearing down souls. Judging from her desire for diversity and concern over "microaggressions" she was running with the worst of the bunch.
The most beautiful of women especially have a weakness where their appearance is concerned, especially as they age and their beauty begins to fade.
I do this weird thing, I started reading books again.

I still check out my old gf’s on FB as well. All our married like me. I am friends with 2 of them on FB. All of the ones I dated we just went our separate ways because different wants etc. so there is no hate.
Found out recently the woman I dated in the 80’s out of college died of cancer..really bummed me out.

She had both a MBA and a JD. She was smart and got that on her own.
Blacks getting in undergrad, yeah many do it by quotas etc. but once you get into MBA and JD territories especially to earn both way before 30 is because you are smart.
