Prince Andrew last night demanded a 'trial by jury' as he hit back at accusations of rape and sexual assault made by a Jeffrey Epstein 'sex slave'.
In his official response to claims made against him by Virginia Roberts five months ago, the Queen's son issued 41 denials, rejecting all allegations of wrongdoing – but said a further 40 times that he 'lacks sufficient information to admit or deny' other claims.
He also submitted 11 defences calling for the case to be dismissed, including that Miss Roberts' claims should be barred by 'her own wrongful conduct' and 'unclean hands'. His decision to go ahead with the case puts him in contravention with the Royal Family who, sources say, are 'desperate' for him to settle and avoid the spectacle of a trial in New York later this year during the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

All the stuff about the 41 denials and denials “on information and belief” and all the “defenses” including “unclean hands”, and “demand for trial by jury” is ABSOLUTELY boring, boilerplate, and routine. It is the standard everybody-always-does-it; any-first-year-associate-can-crank-it-out, way to respond to a civil complaint.
None of it deserves any response but “ho hum”. Of course, if you have a dirty imagination, Ho hum could be rather interesting. But that’s not what I meant.
This is a pleading containing standard denials / affirmative defenses that are universally asserted in just about every answer to a complaint, breathlessly reported as substance.

I am wondering how he can get a fair trial via a jury of his peers in New York, since the US does not grant titles of nobility to its citizens. Will Gov Hochul create various lords & ladies, counts and countesses, viscounts, discounts, marquess, barons, and etc in order for him to be tried by his Peers?

However, I think the Queen has a hundred ways to abort his arrogant ways.
He was also an attack dog for Theranos when Elizabeth Holmes used intimidation tactics on employees and ex-employees to try to keep them from revealing her fraud.
He represented Harvey Weinstein too, so the shoe is on the other foot now in this case.
I’m not so sure the “she has unclean hands” defense would stand if the reason her hands were dirty was as a result of something he made her do.
