Shocking video shows the moment a Florida man fought off a black bear on his porch, saving his dachshunds.

The attack occurred Wednesday night in Daytona Beach, according to WFTV, and video of the incident, captured on Ring doorbell footage, was released by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC).

It’s why mr Walther, Colt, or mr’s Smith and Wesson go to the door with me. Please feel free to choose Mr Remington or mr Mosseburg. Freedom of choice is a US tradition.

Yeah. That screened lanai is good for keeping out the bugs. Bears, not so much.

Notice the man quickly slid the white container with the dog food in it toward the bear, which is what the bear was wanting.

I’ve spent a lot of time around bears. I don’t think I would do that.

A few years ago, in a suburb north of Orlando, a friend of mine found his two Golden Retrievers quietly standing at the back patio door but not whimpering to be let out. A bear and two cubs had pushed through the screen and were enjoying a dip in his pool on a hot summer day. After an hour they left, with the two Goldens hanging back from the pool area until my friend went out and demonstrated that the bears were gone.

In the summer and fall, we leave the door open in bedroom with just the screen door closed. One night our 2 goldens were going nuts at the screen door. Normally if there is a bunny outside they haul butt out the doggie door. Not this time. Even I turned on the outside light, there was probably a500 pound bear about 15 feet away. The dogs knew better than to go outside.

That’s not the video.

Got to the Breitbart website and you’ll see the guy fight the bear.

The video you posted just has some brainwashed neighbor who sounds like he’s done nothing all his life except watch animal shows on cable television.

This is why we are going to get two Anatolian shepherds when we move to the mountains. They run the bear off so you don’t have to. 😏
