Everyone knows Chipotle’s guacamole is extra — but how extra is it really?
A TikToker who goes by the name “The Chipotle Guy” shared the spicy behind-the-scenes secrets of the fast-food chain.
The user, who claims to work at the chain eatery, posted a series of clips about what goes into the making of the restaurant’s tasty guacamole and why it costs a pretty penny. In the first of three videos he posted, he revealed that making the guac was a highly requested clip.

Chipotle published their Guac recipe several years ago.. Its not a big secret.
2 ripe Hass avocados (In the restaurant, we use 48 per batch, multiple times per day)
2 teaspoon lime juice
2 tablespoon cilantro (chopped)
¼ cup red onion (finely chopped)
½ jalapeño, including seeds (finely chopped)
¼ teaspoon kosher salt
I refuse to eat any guacamole but my own. Restaurant guac tastes like rotten garbage.
Avocado, onion, tomato, lemon juice, hot sauce, salt and pepper. No one should need a video and a Q&A for that.
>My first job back in 1979 was at Taco Bueno. I made my share of guacamole. Everything there is made fresh.
Used to eat a ton of their bean nachos back in the day, around that time frame actually. Euless
Don’t forget the tomato.
I was up at Denton.
