Nursing isn’t possible for every woman. My daughter tried desperately with both her children, she just did not produce milk, no matter how she tried. Both children had tongue-ties and narrow palates (they’ll be getting expanders and braces very soon $$$$) which added to the difficulty.
She took supplements, drank special teas, pumped (futilely) for hours, had a doula and a “lactation consultant” but nothing worked. Her first child was born at 9 pounds plus, but it became obvious he was losing weight & probably starving! She had a nursing friend who was an “over-producer” & who donated extra milk for him and he quickly gained weight. After that supply was gone, we used formula.
She tried again for a few days with her second baby, but to no avail, and we started formula immediately. They’re both healthy, happy and thriving.
Yep, keep sending those kids to public school...
or keep voting for Democrats...
and you get what you deserve.
I understand that and know it is rare.
For those women, formula is the only option.
However, for most women, they could nurse and it would free up the formula for those who CAN’T.
And you can find it in the dark with both hands.
Demand for wet nurses skyrockets. Look at Joe — creating more jobs!!
I like how they have no idea that baby formula wasn’t always a thing and that somehow generations of americans made it by eating little bites of what their parents were eating...lol. My God... what will the babies eat if they don’t have their little chinese baby friends grinding their food to a pulp for micro-wages... maybe that’s what Hillary meant when she said it takes a village to raise a family.
This broken supply chain crap might be what we need. It might wake people up to stuff we don’t need.
Yeah, yeah, someone is going to indignantly spout off that some mothers can’t breast feed.
My woke daughter had to look over 80 miles to find formula! Venezuala here we come!
Yep.
Mamas look down that’s all the formula you need.🙄
I’ve raised five myself. The post/article I responded to said “baby food”.
