A “one-of-a-kind” house has hit the real estate market in Illinois for $1.17 million. While some might marvel at its elegant finishes and custom mill-work, one popular social media page is taking aim at one specific bedroom and asking the question everyone is thinking:
Is that a...tree?

My cats would LOVE that, dogs on the other hand wouldn’t have to go for a walk they have a built in fire hydrant, sorta speak!!!
I don’t know if so easy to remove, it goes through walls and roof?
I’m sure my pet birds would check it out but it doesn’t really have nice perching branches.

Naperville’s really nice, but damm blue.
I like the tree, personally. I think it was a neat thing to do, but I’m 34 and probably wouldn’t have too much trouble moving around it.
At least they didn’t conceal it the way most in Chicagoland would have.
That is too much Morning Wood.
And, hey, if you think THAT is weird, check out The House On The Rock in Wisconsin.
And there you have it. My cat would love it. She sleeps with and on me, but might find a place on that tree she likes better in the summer.
What’s wrong with a giant woody in the bedroom?
It looks like neighbor of mine built a back room round a large pine tree.

Yeah, we’ve lived in Dupage County for over 30 years. It was a rock solid red county until about 15 years ago, when liberals from Chicago moved out here in droves; but, unfortunately, they brought their voting habits with them.
You people act like you never heard of a tree house before?
Grew up in Hinsdale and Oak Brook. Long time ago before I was interested in politics. Now in Spokane close to ID where my daughter lives. She’s seriously ticked off at all the Californian’s moving in because they’ll bring their politics with them. Already made one CA friend and they just don’’t talk about politics.
Isn’t it good...
Peeled trees with no bark aren’t going to grow.
