A manager at a Cracker Barrel near Houston was fatally shot early Saturday as she came to the aid of a co-worker who was being robbed while she entered the location, reports said.
Robin Baucom, 59, a grandmother, had worked in the restaurant for more than three decades.
The scene unfolded quickly. A car pulled while another employee was entering the store before business hours, and someone jumped out of it and tried to take the employee’s purse, the Star-Telegram reported.

I did. As a 10-14 year old, living on Sheppard AFB, Wichita Falls, TX, 1966-1970. Played hours on end, not to mention organized sports, with neighborhood kids of “different color.” Who knew? FYI...thanks to my Dad, we were the girls softwall winners in our league for three years straight...half of us so called “white” and half of us “of color.” What a crock of crap.

What illiterate retard wrote this?
You screwed up, not me.
That was how Fox News reported a quote from the Star Telegram. This was the actual quote:
Early in the morning on Saturday, Jan. 15, two people in a Dodge Charger pulled up near the entrance to the restaurant, Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said in a tweet. It was before opening, and as an employee was trying to get inside, a man got out of the Charger and tried to steal her purse. Baucom saw what was happening and went to unlock the front door to let her coworker inside, and away from the robber, according to Gonzalez. But the man forced his way through the door and kept trying to steal the woman’s purse, KTRK reported. Baucom pushed the man and he shot her in the chest.

Right you are, sir.
Katrina flushed the Nawlins crapper and it all floated over to Houston.
That robber, must be caught, charged, tried and executed for that. If law enforcement fails to catch that person (they would if it were a person they thought was important), then law enforcement is incompetent.
As I was entering the Dollar Store a giant black guy came walking out with people screaming and an employee being drug as she held onto one of his legs. He kicked he in the head with his other foot and she let go.
I went back to my car and followed him from a distance. There was a police officer in a parking lot a couple blocks away. I went up to his car and knocked on his window as he was playing some type of game on his phone. I pointed to the guy and told him that he had just robbed the Dollar Store and kicked an employee in the head.
The police officer responded, “Can’t you see that I am busy?” I persisted and he said that he was going to arrest me if I didn’t go away. It was like I was living in an alternate universe.
Is that photo-shopped? Because I just saw Brady in the playoff game and his helmet says Buccaneers. The most woke team in the playoffs seems to be the Bill’s. The Dolphins were the worst in regular season.I base this on the percentage of players with this racist crap on their helmets. The 49ers backup QB (Lance) helmet actually says Black Lives Matter.
“...they need it more than you do.”
A common rationalization after the money is stolen from you.
“There’s an epidemic in this country of wanton and senseless violence that’s getting progressively worse.”
No epidemic, just theoretic stupidity. As police forces’ funding is jerked, police get no support but do get harassment by their “superiors” to include prosecution, the foolish attempt to transition social workers into a firefight, and asking cops to walk into a crowd of assassins enbravened (stupidly) by media presentations of criminals being treated wrong and supporting it with lies...I think you get the idea that if you hit the guard dog enough with a rolled up newspaper he will not guard quite as well or as often. Self preservation. The liberal thinking politicians didn’t exactly bring it upon themselves. They brought this first upon the citizens. Now they have to figure out how to make laws to protect themselves from themselves.

Its not just the police. Our military people are also having to deal with a lot of unnecessary and dangerously unproductive BS.
“A car pulled while another employee was entering…”
What was the car pulling?
L
The car was trap-shooting. You know, how in trap or skeet they yell 'pull!' when they are ready for a clay to be thrown.
Ah, thanks.
Mrs L and I haven’t gone trap shooting in over a month. We miss getting cases of #8 loads for $50.

If Biden TRULY wanted to help the impoverished, he'd offer Ammunition Stimulus Checks.
I'll give the White House a call. He'll get right on that.
So the story we are getting is like the 10th version of it !
We got MANAGER, Employee, LEO, the ft.worthless times, Faux snewz, ktrk tv snewz in Houston and this Murder took place in Houston.
Let’s just go ask Betty White and see if we get the REAL Story.
Let’s just call it what it is basically a white onion 🧅 oii on white murder so let’s o
“Our military people are also having to deal with a lot of unnecessary and dangerously unproductive BS.”
Please tell me what BS. I spent half my life attached to the military and it was a lot more under control and defined than what the police deal with.
In the military you are given a task and told how to get it done. If you adhere to the policies and regs you won’t have a problem. I’m retired now, but I was a book guy and I never had a problem based upon not following orders and directives in a firefight or in peacetime. The poor cops can’t do anything without being placed under a scrutiny way overboard. Sure they make mistakes, but a whole lot less than the criminals they have to subdue. And too many times the cops are in jail and the criminals walk the streets.
