I requested from my doctor - she is a Johns Hopkins doctor - for a prescription for Ivermectin. This is her reply -

I never give prescription for ivermectin to humans.

I will NOT give your rx for ivermectin. This is non science.

Should I waste a reply to her?

I asked my Dr for an Ivermectin prescription when Delta started to take over. He gave me the typical lines about how it doesn’t work for Covid. I told him about the results of metastudy analyses that show it works and gave him some links to investigate. He said he would think about it. The next day I got a call from the pharmacy saying my Ivermectin prescription was ready for pickup.

She might prescribe Hydroxychloroquine for malaria protection, but not IVM.

But, it doesn't matter. She's just following the orders she was given in order to keep her job. When I asked my doc what he thought of the prophylaxis cocktail (D3, C, Zinc, Melatonin, Quercetin, NAC) he replied "follow the CDC recommendations" which, at the time, simply meant "if you get really sick, go to the hospital and get on a ventilator with oxygen."
