Did it ever occur to the people planning these exercises that they might be training members of the resistance that they are trying to put down?

If I lived that close to the training exercise maybe they would need some real world Counter action that can randomly Spontaneously occur.

Robin Sage is run four times a year in central North Carolina. The current exercise ends Sunday. So there is a current exercise going on right now with the next one scheduled to start Jan. 22?

What they’re really being trained for is to be the force-arm of the FBI and DOJ. The ‘victims’ aren’t really ‘insurgents’ when they are the freedom loving CITIZENs of this country. They didn’t come from anywhere. There the whole time and the government decides it can’t have that kind of freedom for its citizens anymore.

Two or three years ago the army was running around playing tyrant in the N GA mountains. Kicking people off public trails in the national forest and being general aholes on public land which they aren’t supposed to do. After a while they started noticing guys in full battle rattle watching them and shadowing them along the ridgetops. They moved on pretty quick. I see this year the military is steering clear of GA.

No one seems to realize that this is done every year for the training of the special forces troops, i.e., green berets.
What? And not take a perfectly lame opportunity to spout of knee-jerk reactions and paranoia? Pshaw!

I’m not worried about liberals using our military to put down civilian protesters. The overwhelming majority of special ops troops and elite combat units are conservative. And, since the end of the draft their demographic has become more legacy in mix; meaning these troops have families, parents, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, neighbors, etc, etc, that have served. And, there’s no way they will fire on their own kind. Liberals are delusional if they think they will.
And about 80% of the freepers, sadly.

More than likely the US Army is looking at large scale non-conventional warfare... in Taiwan.

Agree!
Plus fedgov is horrible about taking into account black swan events that they deem “impossible” to ever occur.

I hate to break it to people but some times it pays to read the
original article instead of someone else's opinion of it.
This is the infamous Special Forces "Robin Sage" training exercise which started running in 1974. It is not new.
What is new is CFP and the Warzone putting subtle spins to their titles of neutrally worded articles to rile people up.
