"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.
When you are awake, you are able to clearly see.
The choice is yours, and yours alone.
Trust and put faith in yourself.
You are not alone and you are not in the minority.

The latest shocking death was a sweet lady whose family has run a hair salon for 50 years. She was only 55. Her mom started the business. My family has been going to see them all those years. The mom has said she will close the business. She was a horse lover like me. Just a great person.

When I am sick, I find hot sour soup from our local Chinese place really helps with congestion and all that. I even made some myself and canned it so we would have it on hand.

My research started because I was trying to “jump the pond” to find my ancestor, whose first Jamestown land patent was around 1630. I uncovered this older brother (the recusant Catholic) who had been imprisoned and his personal paperwork impounded by Robert Cecil. So I was able to read through his personal notes in the London Archives and even his correspondence from prison to said Cecil. Fascinating stuff which sent me down a rabbit hole of learning the history of the recusants. Equally fascinating was when they discovered the graves of the four original Jamestown founders and found a silver reliquery in one of the graves... a sign that a secret Catholic had been one of the Jamestown founders.

You said it! Our DIL has gotten drunk on the Koolaid and if we even try to show her alternative info she puts her hands over her ears and does the “reee reee reee” bit. Very heartbreaking because she isn’t stupid and it’s rough on her husband because he sees the truth but can’t open her eyes.
And that means we see our grandchildren only via FaceTime lately.
