I wanted to put out there my personal experience with China Virus and am interested in hearing your experiences. I definitely had COVID back in September/October 2021. I was sick for about two weeks, but did not go to the doctor. Basically, it felt like a mild, bizarre flu, with a fever that moved from my waist to my forehead. I made a full recovery (with the exception of my sense of taste and smell which is still a little screwed up) and actually worked every day while I was sick. Fast-forward to this past week, when I had 4 different people in my office get sick and test positive for COVID. My office is small, so I had close contact with all of these people for hours on end. I'm the only person in the office who hasn't gotten sick. They were all vaccinated, but I never have been vaccinated. Does this sound familiar?
I had it back in August/September and to call it a bizarre flue nails it. Don’t have my taste/smell back either.
Someone posted the lack of taste/smell was the body being short on zinc.

We have similar experiences. I got the coof in December 2019 and ended up in the hospital for a day with severe respiratory issues, a fever, and dehydration. A prescription decongestant, a nebulizer, a couple liters of fluids, and a couple hours under observation and I was sent home.
I not only haven’t had the coof since then I haven’t been sick at all...not even seasonal allergies.
Meanwhile at my office two of my three coworkers got the shots and got brutally sick as a result. One of them refused the booster and the other got the booster and was out for two weeks recovering from it.
Myself and my other coworker who refused the shots are just fine. We were supposed to have been fired back in September but that never happened and there was no explanation as to why.
It was somewhat disappointing to be honest.
It’s everywhere, dude. I can’t think of any place who’s not hit by now unless you happen to work by yourself at home.
Very familiar. Of my immediate co-workers, all of whom are jabbed and some boosted, several of them got COVID over the holidays. The jab does next to nothing.
Same here, except for one thing: I’m sick, going on 5+ days.

Had ‘rona March 2020. Other than a brief bout of ‘in-the-bones’ body aches, nothing but a mild cold since Saturday morning. I just don’t understand why the illness is persistent this time around: I’m doing everything talked about here (save for IM & HQC, neither of which I possess). Funny thing is one place I walked into required taking my temperature today and I passed, despite persistent 99-100 temp since Saturday (I have not tested and will NOT be tested).
Nearly all ‘vaxxed’ staff have shown symptoms and/or tested positive. Oddly, the other 2 staff who are neither ‘vaxxed’ nor recovered NEVER got ill, and I’m 99% sure I got it from a ‘vaxxed’ employee who wandered into work sick one day last week and was later sent home. My wife left town on business and also became ill yesterday, but who knows where she picked it up and whether it’s ‘rona or something else (it’s been >24 hours and she still doesn’t have test results; I’m presuming it was negative/inconclusive).
Regardless, she’s being treated like a leper for cold symptoms, which is why I HAVEN’T SAID A DAMNED THING!
This ‘virus crisis’ is a crime. I won’t be a pleasant person to whomever tries to deny me entry based on that one intrusive, irrelevant question (hasn’t happened...yet).
The vaccine definitely does not protect as well against omicron.
One theory about why so many vaccinated are getting omicron is that they are used to a much lower level of contagion. They were able to cavort around much as if it were normal times-—until omicron. Omicron, if it’s to be avoided, requires a much more cautious set of behaviors.
Not only that, but once one vaccinated person gets it, all the people they hang out with get it too, vaccinated and unvaccinated. We’re not used to that.
It’s OK, though, because omicron protects against delta. The reverse is not true—but that’s not as serious, since omicron is not that serious. It’s hard to get used to these ever-changing conditions.
People’s behavior is impossible to measure, so it’s not definite that this is the reason, but it seems to be.
Definitely more infectious, we have about 40 or 50 people and other than a couple people early it’s the first time it has hit us.
Most described it as a bad cold/mild flu.
