Busy night in Philly last night. In addtition to the 18 year old attempted carjacker, in another incident a man was shot 32 times and another 16 times. About 4 or 5 shootings total, probably more.

Carjackers should be shot in the face.
Why do they always write “...[the vic used] a firearm he was licensed to carry”...
...but they NEVER write “...the perp used a an illegal firearm he WAS NOT licensed to carry”?

Since government won’t protect citizens and their property, its good someone at least is supplying disincentive to criminal behavior.

“...licensed to carry....” So the state authorized this person to do what he should be allowed to do in the first place.

One’s choice of caliber changes with the likelihood a shooting will involve automobiles. 9mm may be acceptable against perpetrators but is less acceptable against perpetrators in cars. You need something that will break car parts on the way to the target.
