Watching that sure beats reading the story of a Texas father being fatally gunned down in a parking lot while carrying a pizza for his 6 year old daughter’s birthday party. Any sense of right and wrong is quickly dissolving in this country, ever since Odungo.
Very unusual since cats are predators.
Our flat coat retriever came out of the woods a few years back with a baby kitten in her mouth. My wife and I just happened to be outside.
We walked towards the place where she came from and she lead us back to a litter of newborn feral kittens. That flat coat retriever, Tula, is the smartest animal I’ve ever owned.
Animals can really surprise you. (Of course, the retriever may have just seen this as part of her job, right? “Oh, this is something Master will want to see!!”)
It’s going to get worse before it gets better. I was just reading about the Ukraine situation which sounds quite dire. Will there be a nuclear exchange before the year is out?

The idea that these baby squirrels were "abandoned" is pure fiction.

I doubt the squirrels retribution will be that dire. The cat, on the other hand, not so sure.

Perhaps this will bring home why elections are important. There is indeed a dire situation here with the Ukraine, and we have a mumbling bumbling meat puppet, doing the will of a bunch of absolute leftist lunatics, with our nuclear codes. If you watch the video, this cat is also being very careful with each of the squirrel babies, pulling her lips over her teeth to carry it--the way cats do when they're carrying their own kittens.
Domestic animals are complex critters, is all I can say.
Cat caught and brought a chipmunk into a friends house then tired of playing with it. It took him a week to catch and remove the chipmunk.

Was this recent? We don’t watch local news anymore and I can’t recall seeing it on line. That’s horrible!!
The cat probably ate the mother and wanted the owner to bring the babies home for meals later.
Since we don’t know what the cat was thinking - it’s just as easy to assume the cat loved her ‘master’ and wanted to share the fresh food...
OKAY, probably not...
I think they fooled the cat. It thought they were kittens...
