Tucker Carlson and Va. radio host Vince Coglianese offer reaction on 'Tucker Carlson Tonight'
You know damn well if Trump was President, they would blame him, everything else being the same.
I have been hearing these people for all my life.
They would blame Reagan if they could.
They have never made sense about anything yet here they are.
The only thing I can gather is being irresponsible in your decisions is not your fault. That personally attacks the freedom the founders set forth.
Would you please provide backup for your statement? Were they just neighbors who got along with each other in a friendly way at some time in the past....and are they still "friends" to this day?
Sources, please.

Weather forecasters blow every little breeze out of proportion. If we hunkered down scared every time we’d never go outside.
Rosemary Potter is a dirtbag. Change my mind!
I agree.
I also take the responsibility to check energy levels of approaching storms and just where that energy will focus.
The temperature gradient of the front and low pressure to build in GA was enough to pay attention to. They missed by 100mi or so.
A weaker but similar scenario is coming in tomorrow but the temp gradient isn’t there this time. Wind won’t be near as strong.
This new one seems to be more PA. I would mention WVA but they already know it.
Can you explain that statement?
“This is what we’re dealing with. These people just cannot be reached, so it’s pointless to even waste your time on them. Just hope they don’t breed.”
Yup. You can’t negotiate with lunatics. Fortunately, most of these folks won’t breed. They want to save the world, but won’t even save their own genetic line.

Pull back just a bit on that view and you will see some major low pressures in Atlantic and Pacific.
What forms tomorrow in the SE will be almost sudden.
One word. RINO.
Well, you obviously know more about him than many of us do. So can you give us an example of his ‘RINOism’?
“These people just cannot be reached, so it’s pointless to even waste your time on them.”
See my tag line.

I’m not sure what that proves...
In this piece, Tucker (once again) demonstrates his ignorance.
👱+🌴
Here are the reasons:
Nature
Summer the day before, rain, rain, more rain.
De-iceing chems cannot be laid down because of torrential downpours.
More rain
Winds, big winds
Power outages
Temps plummet
Freezing temps, high galeforce winds, sleet, snow sticking...
ALL THE WHILE THE NWS WAS POSTING WARNINGS, NEWS AND WEATHER CHANNELS WERE BROADCASTING WARNINGS. NWS UPDATED WEATHER WARNING ON TIME, PUBLIC BROADCAST AND WARNINGS CONTINUED.
Bottomline:
...the prudent mariner would have heeded the warnings.
...the prudent mariner practices situational awareness.
Common sense. I feel for the truckers. Vacationers and even commuters had a choice and they failed to make the correct choice.
You’re confusing weather reportering to meteorology.
This frontal shift was being talked about days earlier, and a quick check of the storm path would have verified the intensity of the storm.
The day before Tennessee was hammered. The power is still down mid-state.
Despite the name, all Interstates are owned and maintained by the state they are in. Legally they are state highways, just built to a federally set standard and numbered per joint approval of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO).
So this is on the Virginia DOT not the US DOT.
From what I could ascertain from the videos and photos I saw, they couldn't keep the keep the highway cleared of snow. They may have salted but with the continued snow fall, salt isn't going to last long and the highway was snowed over and what had melted subsequently froze.
With all that traffic stranded on the icy road, there ain't no salt trucks or plows getting in there. You just have to wait it out....
What I have noticed here in Macomb county where I live, their storm preparation is far more efficient than Oakland County.
Case in point, several years ago a snow storm came in while I was in Wixom. When it came time to come home, I-696 in Oakland County was covered with about three inches of ice and snow and many vehicles had spun off the road. Speed was down to about 15 MPH.
As soon as I crossed over the county line into Macomb County, the highway was clear of snow since the road commission salt trucks had done their job properly.
