This was the last single by the Rod Stewart fronted band "The Faces" released back in 1984.
By that time, Rod Stewart was already well on his way to having one of the most successful solo careers in the history of rock music.
It remains the longest song title to ever hit the UK charts. It was little known here in the United States.
1974 but wanted to see who was paying attention.
Thanks for this and the correction. I saw the Faces in ‘73 or ‘74 at the Hollywood Palladium, it was billed as their farewell, to the USA, concert. So I was scratching my head wondering if they went back into the studio in 1984.
Faces Trivia Question: Did Rod Stewart ever record an album with the ‘Small Faces’? (That was the Steve Marriott led band). (Answer will follow after some responses)

Happy upbeat song. 3 years after Maggie May. Went commercial at some point and sold out like Sarah Palin. Bowie did it too with Let’s Dance and China Girl. Like republicans selling out too Mitch.
Small Faces were one of the first ‘psychedelic bands (itchy koo park). I preferred Stewart's vocals and Becks guitar work.
Many of the performers on Beck-Ola ant Truth, played together as Faces or with Rod on his solo albums.
IMHO- Rods best work was with Beck and on his solo albums (gasoline Alley, the Rod Stewart Album)

Looking a the ticket stub, Cactus was the backup band. Tim Bogart and Carmen Appice of Vanilla Fudge, later of Beck, Bogart & Appice. Superstition was on that trio’s album. The great Carmen Appice later joined Rod’s band.
