Faces Trivia Question: Did Rod Stewart ever record an album with the ‘Small Faces’? (That was the Steve Marriott led band). (Answer will follow after some responses)

The albums he did with Jeff Beck were incredible.

The Small Faces, with Steve Marriott, blew away Rod’s Faces.

Looking a the ticket stub, Cactus was the backup band. Tim Bogart and Carmen Appice of Vanilla Fudge, later of Beck, Bogart & Appice. Superstition was on that trio’s album. The great Carmen Appice later joined Rod’s band.

“It remains the longest song title to ever hit the UK charts. It was little known here in the United States.”

Doesn’t compete with this 1945 classic by Hoagy Carmichael.
“I’m a Cranky Old Yank in a Clanky Old Tank on the Streets of Yokohama with my Honolulu Mama Doin Those Beat-o, Beat-o Flat-On-My-Seat-o, Hirohito Blues”

Recognized by Guinness as one of the longest ever song titles.
There are some knee slapping names and song titles at the link.

Who had that hairstyle first...Rod Stewart or David Bowie as seen on the cover of his (world-famous!) album Aladdin Sane?
