MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – After the game clock had finally ticked down to double zeroes Friday night at Hard Rock Stadium and Georgia’s 34-11 win over Michigan was official, Kirby Smart’s players sought to give him a Gatorade bath.
The Bulldogs’ coach was having none of it. He avoided the dunk and scolded those that tried to give it to him.
“I was wanting a real shower and not a Gatorade bath,” Smart explained after the College Football Playoff semifinal victory. “Because I want to get focused on Alabama. They have a five- or six-hour head start. To be honest, I’m not interested in celebrating that. We’ll look back on that win, and that’ll be great. But we’re focused on the task ahead.”
That’d be another matchup with Alabama (13-1) in the national championship. The No. 1-ranked Crimson Tide defeated No. 4 Cincinnati 27-6 on Friday afternoon in the Cotton Bowl in Arlington, Texas.

As long as Saban maintains his recruiting excellence and the ability to almost seamlessly replace major assistance coaches he will remain the reigning GOAT.
Unfortunately while us Bama fans love it, the rest of country is getting bored with Bama again.
It starts with expanding the playoff. I can think of four teams off the top of my head that would have been a better matchup for the Tide, than UC. We also have to stop the Group of 5 playoff nonsense until playoff expansion occurs.
We’ve passed on all of it this year.

i couldn’t believe how much bigger the Georgia players were at almost every position...esp both lines....they just threw Michigan around, mauled em. I thought at first it was just Michigans all dark uniforms that made em look smaller...but no..Big 10 are miles behind the S.E.C...

This is my analysis of the Michigan Wolverines.
1. They have no athletes (i.e. no super freaks).
2. They have no explosive play capability.
3. They have No bench.
4. They are a nickel-and-dime offense (can only gain 2-4 yards at a time).
5. Their shark-face coach is a fraud.
Michigan was fortunate to beat Ohio State. They are the 3rd best team in the Big Ten.
I bet $1000 on Georgia. Easiest money ever made.
