The New York State Department of Health has chosen a very peculiar and unconstitutional way to allocate scarce resources.

New York State’s Department of Health has effectively said that the color of a person’s skin is the only thing that matters. It has explicitly announced that, because of a shortage of monoclonal antibody treatments, the state will be rationing what supplies it has...and White people need not apply.
Normally, when there’s a flu around, the protocol is to try to give people easy, affordable treatments that will keep them out of the hospital. In the case of COVID, there are indications that both Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin, which are reliable, affordable drugs, will help treat early-stage COVID if they are correctly prescribed by a competent physician. However, thanks to the Democrats’—and, especially Fauci’s—obsessive focus on vaccines to the exclusion of treatment, doctors’ careers are being destroyed if they dare even to suggest these two treatments.
What this means is that people’s COVID goes untreated until they’re so sick they need to report to a hospital. At that moment, long-standing triage protocols say that healthcare workers must determine who needs the most immediate care and allocate treatment along those lines. In the bad old days of Jim Crow, being the wrong color (i.e., non-White) precluded you from being triaged as very sick if there was a White person beside you. This ended when Americans recognized how evil this was and race-based treatment under the law was made illegal under the Civil Rights Act.

There is reasonably solid evidence that ivermectin docks to the spike protein itself to prevent binding to the ACE2 receptor which is the primary pathology causing the tissue damage and clots related to SARS-CoV-2. One drug that has attracted interest is the antiparasitic compound ivermectin, a macrocyclic lactone derived from the bacterium Streptomyces avermitilis. We carried out a docking study to determine if ivermectin might be able to attach to the SARS-CoV-2 spike receptor-binding domain bound with ACE2. Materials and Methods: We used the program AutoDock Vina Extended to perform the docking study. Results: Ivermectin docked in the region of leucine 91 of the spike and histidine 378 of the ACE2 receptor. The binding energy of ivermectin to the spike-ACE2 complex was -18 kcal/mol and binding constant was 5.8 e-08.
Conclusion: The ivermectin docking we identified may interfere with the attachment of the spike to the human cell membrane. Clinical trials now underway should determine whether ivermectin is an effective treatment for SARS-Cov2 infection.

Another part of the problem is that if you live in NYS it’s harder than Hades to find someone willing to prescribe prophylaxis or early treatment so you don’t develop bad CoupFlu.
And that’s a huge part of the problem.
Big Med is refusing to treat CoupFlu patients until complications develop.

A friend of ours (not in NY) came down with COVID (he is fully vaxed so at least his doc wasn’t screaming at him about that) and his PCP gave him the usual “ take Tylenol & if you have trouble breathing, go to the ER”.
This friend ‘confronted’ his doc and said that he annually gets a sinus infection and is prescribed antibiotics and steroids for that condition, could the doc not at least give him those prescriptions? The doc was hesitant, but finally did (I’m sure the diagnosis code used is for sinus infection) ... so at least the friend had 2 things to help with WuFlu. I also sent him links on early treatment protocols from FLCCC, etc. for which he’s thanked me a couple of times. Despite at least 2 comorbidities, he came through his WuFlu ok, thank goodness.
BTW, “take Tylenol” is very bad medical advice. Tylenol is well known to deplete glutathione which is critical for fighting C19 inflammation.
Your state’s state health department website is a PITA. Makes info difficult to find on anything specific other than CoupFlu. Did just find this right off the bat, though...
And they’re not talking Ivermectin.
In NYS you can get early treatment for influenza, but not CoupFlu.
